6th Graders (or anyone interested) - for your Synchronized Swimming Mix, feel free to check out "Audacity" the audio mixing program for your tracks. It is free, easy to use, and legal :)

http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/

There are youtube videos on how to cut and make mixes. Many students already know how to use this program at YIS. Ask around :)

Audacity: Download For users of Mac OS 9 and Mac OS 10.0 through 10.3, legacy versions of Audacity are available on the Legacy Mac downloads page.

Crossfit Challenge Fall 2013

14/10/2013

Attention all 7th and 8th Grade PE Students!!!! Let the posting begin. Choose 3 of the 5 workouts to complete over break. Post only the workout number (1-5), then how many rounds you completed, heart rate before workout, and heart rate right after workout.

Please write them down on your workout sheet as well and answer the question of muscle groups on the sheet only. Encourage each other and commend one another! Let's create a positive environment that spurs healthy and active lifestyles amongst your generation! Stay hydrated, and maintain proper form when working out!

For example I would post for today:

Workout #3, 4 rounds, 60bpm, 170bpm

Have fun!!!!

12/10/2013

Starting Monday, 7th and 8th grade students, please post your workout number, # of rounds completed, and heart rate before and after the workout! Remember to do your best and stay hydrated!
