EBL & VRM (Electronic Bearing Line and Variable Range Marker)
Electronic Bearing Line (EBL) and Variable Range Marker (VRM) are essential radar navigation tools used to determine the bearing and distance of targets. They help navigators monitor nearby vessels, fixed objects, and navigational hazards, improving situational awareness and collision avoidance.
Electronic Bearing Line (EBL)
The EBL is a movable line extending from the center of the radar (your own ship) to a selected target. It is used to measure the bearing (direction) of a target relative to your vessel.

Variable Range Marker (VRM)
