TX စာမေးပွဲမှာ အမှတ် 50 ရမှ အောင်မှာပါ

အဲ့ဒီ အောင်မှတ်ရဖို့က ကိုယ့်ရဲ့ exam strategy ပေါ်လည်း မူတည်ပါတယ်

အဓီပ္ပာယ်က ကိုယ် စာမေးပွဲခန်းထဲဝင်၊ မေးခွန်းတွေ့ရင် ကိုယ်ဘယ်လိုဖြေမလဲ တွေးထားခြင်း ဖြစ်တယ်

Answer Vs Marks

ကျွန်တော် သတိပေးချင်တာ မေးခွန်းဖြေတိုင်း ရမှတ်ကို တွေးနေပါ

စာမေးပွဲမှာ အဖြေများမှ အောင်တာမဟုတ်ဘူး၊ အမှတ်များမှ အောင်တာပါ
ကိုယ့် အဖြေ နဲ့ ရမှတ်ကို ချိတ်ဆက်မိရမယ်

ပြောချင်တာ မေးခွန်းက 2 မှတ်တန် အဖြေတောင်းရင် 2 မှတ်ဖိုးပဲဖြေသင့်ပါတယ် (ခြွင်းချက်အနေနဲ့ သိသိသာသာ အမှတ်နဲ့ မတန်တဲ့ အဖြေကို တောင်းတဲ့ မေးခွန်းတွေလည်း ရှိပါတယ်)

Section C မှာ တွက်စာတွက်ရင် အဆင့်များစွာ ပါဝင်ပါတယ်၊ အမှတ်ရလွယ်တဲ့ အဆင့်တွေကို သေချာစွာ ရေးပါ

အမှတ်ရလွယ်တာက စာလွယ်တာ ဖြစ်ချင်ဖြစ်ပါလိမ့်မယ်

ဥပမာ ကျွန်တော်လေ့လာသလောက်အရ Capital allowance computation, Actual/Deemed occupation for Private residence relief, Share Pool calculation စတာတွေက 4 မှတ် 5 မှတ်လောက်အထိ အေးဆေးရနိုင်တယ်
ကိုယ့်အတွက် စာအရမ်းမလွယ်သော်လည်း ဒီလို အမှတ်တွေ ပေါသီပေးတဲ့ အပိုင်းကို ပြည့်ပြည့်စုံစုံ ရေးခဲ့သင့်တယ်

အချိန်ဟာ အကြောင်းအမျိုးမျိုးကြောင့် မလောက်တော့ရင် အမှတ်ရသလောက်ယူမယ့် စိတ်ထားရတော့မယ်

Marks and Passing exam

You will pass if you get 50 marks in the TX exam
Getting that score depends on your answering strategy during exam
What I mean is you have to plan how you will answer each question in the exam even before you take the actual exam

Answer Vs Marks

- Think about the marks given every time you answer a question
- It's not always about the quality or quantity of answers but the marks associated with the quality and quantity of answers
Therefore, you must always relate your answer to the marks given
- For example, if a question asks for an answer worth 2 marks, you should only give an answer worth 2 marks (exceptions are when there are questions that ask for an answer that is not worth 2 marks, which might seem unfair but it is what it is).
- In Section C of TX, there are sub-questions and marks allocated to such sub-questions
- Be careful that your answer should be just enough to full score the allocated marks

Time Vs Marks

- You might have heard that it should only take 1.2 min to answer 1 mark worth of question and you might have even calculated it yourself
- This is true but there is no need to be specific; Just be careful not to delay future questions when answering earlier questions
- Such quick answering and time management is very important in OTQ
- The syllbaus will be roundly included in the exam, so things you understand and things you do not understand will both be included
- If you face a question you are confused about, you need to make clear judgement, and choose the most appropriate answer you can think of and just leave it at that. You have to move on to the next question
- That's why you need to be calm during the exam, so that you can make clear decisions
- If we are faced with a lot of questions we are confused about, it can shaken our mind and decisions made could be wrong
- In such situation, always remember that 'Time is important for me. I will get most marks out of the time remaining in exam'

Easy Vs Marks

- Get the easiest marks first. Don't be over confident which can lead to disastrous 'hard-mark chasing' mindset
- The calculation in Section C includes many steps. Be sure to answer carefully steps that are easy to answer and score
- Most of the time, easy answers are from generally-accepted easier parts of the syllabus
- For example, according to what I have studied, Capital allowance computation, Actual/Deemed occupation for Private residence relief, Share Pool calculation, etc. can get up to 4 or 5 marks.
- It's not an easy answering process parse, but you should not leave out any steps when answering super-marks questions like that
- If the time is not enough for various reasons, you must take as much marks available as possible
- If the answer is long and you don't get many points, skip the answer
- Your math may be all over the place, but you have to pick and choose steps that are quick and easy to answer

Conclusion

- Enough time to read, to think, to answer and to double check the questions and answers will be given in Section C
- There will be easy OTQs as well as hard ones
- You have to try to get the marks you need to pass the exam in the most convenient way for you
