“In a circle, in a circle, dance in a circle… This is the Mexican hat song, throw your Sombrero down… Now dance, dance, around the hat, the song is called La Respa~”
Our little cultural explorers from Pre-School 1 class ‘travelled’ to Mexico to experience the exciting, colourful and delicious Mexican Fiesta. Wearing their self-made Sombrero hats, our children sang and danced to the La Respa music. The children listened, read and followed the recipe instructions to measure and mix flour, salt, baking powder, butter and hot water to make dough. After kneading and flattening balls of dough, the children fry the flat pieces of dough into Tortillas. Finally, our children chose and added filling ingredients into their tortillas to make their own personalised Tacos.
This multi-sensory experience develops and enhances children's problem solving, science, mathematics, language, social and communication skills. Our children had great fun exploring language, healthy nutrition, hygiene and cultural diversity!
Pre-school 1 မှ စူးစမ်းသူလေးများဟာ စိတ်လှုပ်ရှားစရာကောင်းပြီး ရောင်စုံလှပတဲ့ Mexican Fiesta ကို ကြုံတွေ့ဖို့အတွက် Mexico သို့ ခရီးနှင်ခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။
ကိုယ်တိုင်ပြုလုပ်ထားတဲ့ Sombrero ဦးထုပ်များကို ဆောင်းပြီး La Respa သီချင်းကို သီဆိုကခုန်ခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။
သားသားမီးမီးတို့ဟာ ဂျုံနယ်ဖို့အတွက် ဂျုံ၊ ဆား၊ မုန့်ဖုန်ပေါင်ဒါ၊ ထောပတ်နဲ့ ရေနွေးတို့ကို အညွှန်းအတိုင်း ချိန်တွယ်ခဲ့ကြပြီး ဂျုံအလုံးများကို နယ်ပြီး အပြားလေးများလုပ်ကာ Tortillas ဖြစ်အောင် ကြော်ပါတယ်။ နောက်ဆုံးမှာတော့ သားသားမီးမီးတို့ဟာ စိတ်ကြိုက် ပါဝင်ပစ္စည်းများထည့်ကာ ကိုယ်ပိုင် Taco လေးများ ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။
ဒီ Multi-sensory အတွေ့အကြုံလေးဟာ သားသားမီးမီးတို့ရဲ့ Problem solving, Science, Mathematics, English, Social နဲ့ Communication skill တွေကို ပိုမိုကောင်းမွန်စေရန် ထောက်ပံ့ပေးမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ သားသားမီးမီးတို့ဟာ ဘာသာစကား၊ ကျန်းမာသောအာဟာရ၊ သန့်ရှင်းမှုနဲ့ မတူညီကွဲပြာသော ယဥ်ကျေးမှုတို့ကို လေ့လာပြီး ပျော်ရွှင်ခဲ့ကြပါတယ်ရှင့်။
