Why Weird is Good
- When it comes to college essays, the biggest mistake students make is playing it safe.
- You don't need to sound perfect. You need to be yourself!
And the best way to do that? Get a little weird. A memorable essay isn't always the one about winning awards or curing world hunger.
It's probably the one about a broken microwave or your oddly-shaped birthmark.
* So ditch the generic. Write the thing that only you could write.
