Earthquake Relief Assistance Notification (2)

The Inya Economics Emergency Response Team(ERT) has conducted a preliminary assessment to provide assistance to villages affected by the earthquake in Sagaing Region. According to the findings, after the earthquake, local residents reported that water no longer flows from their wells. As a result, there is an urgent need for digging new wells, purchasing water pumps, and acquiring fuel to operate the pumps in the short term. The ERT team is currently coordinating with relevant voluntary organizations to address these needs. The estimated timeline for the completion of the activities is expected to be within April.

ဧပြီလ ၁ရက်နေ့အထိ သိရှိရတဲ့ သတင်းအချက်အလက်များအရ မြန်မာ့ငလျင်ဘေးဒဏ်ကြောင့် သေဆုံးသူဦးရေ ၂၇၀၀ ကျော်နှင့် ဒဏ်ရာရရှိသူ ၄၅၀၀ ကျော်ရှိလာခဲ့ပြီး အိုးအိမ်ပျက်စီးဆုံးရှုံးခဲ့ရသော မိသားစုများ အလွန်များပြားစွာရှိခဲ့သည့်အတွက် မိမိတို့အဖွဲ့အစည်းအနေဖြင့် ပြည်သူများနှင့်အတူ များစွာ ပူဆွေးဝမ်းနည်းမိပါကြောင်း တင်ပြပါရစေ။

မိမိတို့အရေးပေါ်တုံ့ပြန်ရေးအဖွဲ့ဝင်၏ မတ်လ (၃၀) ရက်နေ့မှ ဧပြီလ (၁) ရက်နေ့အထိ မြေပြင်ကွင်းဆင်းတွေ့ရှိချက်များအရ စစ်ကိုင်းတိုင်းရှိ ငလျင်ဗဟိုချက်မနှင့် များစွာမကွာသည့် ဒေသတွင် အရေးပေါ်ကယ်ဆယ်ရေးလုပ်ဆောင်ရသည့် ကာလတိုကို ကျော်လွန်လာပြီးနောက်တွင် ပြန်လည်ထူထောင်ရေးလုပ်ငန်းများမှာ တပါတည်း လုပ်ဆောင်ရန်လိုအပ်လာကြောင်း သိရှိရပါသည်။ ထို့ကြောင့် အမှန်တကယ်လိုအပ်နေသည့်အရာများကို မြေပြင်ရှိပရဟိတအဖွဲ့များနှင့် တိုင်ပင်ပြီး လှူဒါန်းမှု စတင်နိုင်ရန် စီစဉ်ဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိပါသည်။

အဆိုပါ လိုအပ်သည့်လုပ်ငန်းကို လုပ်ဆောင်နိုင်ရန်အတွက် နိုင်ငံတကာနှင့် ပြည်တွင်းအနယ်နယ် အရပ်ရပ်မှ ပြည်သူများ၏ လှူဒါန်းငွေများကိုလည်း မိမိတို့အဖွဲ့မှ လက်ခံရရှိထားပါသည်။

စင်ကာပူဒေါ်လာငွေ - 740 SGD တို့အား ဧပြီလ (၂)ရက်နေ့အထိ (စုစုပေါင်း ကျပ် သိန်း၉၀ဝန်းကျင်) ရရှိထားပြီး ဖြစ်ပါသည်။

Earthquake Relief Assistance Notification (1)

As of April 1, reports indicate that the earthquake in Myanmar has resulted in over 2,700 deaths and more than 4,500 injuries, with a significant number of families losing their homes. Our organization deeply mourns this tragedy alongside the affected communities.

Based on the field assessments conducted by our emergency response team member from March 30 to April 1, the immediate rescue phase has concluded in areas near the earthquake's epicenter in Sagaing Region. As a result, the focus must now shift toward recovery and rebuilding efforts. To ensure that aid reaches where it is most needed, we are coordinating with voluntary organizations on the ground to identify urgent priorities and begin relief distributions.

To support these efforts, our organization has received donations from both domestic and international communities. As of April 2, the total funds received are as follows:
- Myanmar Kyat (MMK) – 4,080,000 MMK
- Thai Baht (THB) – 20,700 THB
- Singapore Dollars (SGD) – 740 SGD

We will continue to provide updates and documentation on the progress of relief activities in the coming days.

Hope for Myanmar – Every Donation Counts!

On March 28, 2025, a powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar, with its epicenter in Sagaing Region. The devastating impact has affected people across Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Shan State, and Nay Pyi Taw.

To provide urgent assistance to those affected, Inya Economics has established an Emergency Response Team (ERT). The organization has allocated 1,000,000 MMK to support earthquake victims in Sagaing Region, where communities have suffered severe destruction and loss.

We encourage our friends, students, and partner organizations to contribute as much as possible to this relief effort. All donations will be collected and distributed directly to those in need through local networks in the affected areas.

The ERT team will ensure full accountability and transparency in handling donations, and official acknowledgment receipts will be provided.
