Are you a young person interested in a career which is a high-ranking profession and a form of art?

If translation fascinates you, this opportunity is one you shouldn’t miss.

This project is made possible through a small grant under the YSEALI Professional Fellows Program Reciprocal Exchange, funded by the U.S. Government. It is designed to nurture a new generation of professional translators and interpreters in Myanmar by equipping them with essential skills, sharing real-world experiences, and building bridges between local and international communities.

Who should join?

Anyone with at least a pre-intermediate level of English who is interested in translation—whether as a job or an art form—is welcome to apply.

What’s included in the program?

- Intensive training sessions led by Mary Jayne McCullough, CEO of Global Wordsmiths, the U.S. based organization alongside experienced Myanmar translators.

- Panel discussions on translation studies and industry trends—both local and international
