According to Article 3 and Annex D of the Salween University Charter 2023, the administration structure of the Salween University is organized as follow.

သံလွင်တက္ကသိုလ်ပဋိညာဉ် (၂၀၂၃) ပါ အပိုဒ် (၃) နှင့် နောက်ဆက်တွဲ (ဃ) တို့အရ သံလွင်တက္ကသိုလ်၏ အုပ်ချုပ်ရေးဖွဲ့စည်းပုံကို အောက်ပါအတိုင်း ဖွဲ့စည်းလိုက်သည်။

Article I: Name and Establishment

The name of this university shall be Salween University. It was established on May 1, 2023, in Myanmar.

Article II: Vision and Mission

Section 1: Vision
The vision of Salween University is to be a leading institution of higher education in Myanmar that is committed to providing quality education accessible to all, with a focus on working class and middle-class families.

Section 2: Mission
The mission of Salween University is to promote education for all through the provision of comprehensive, innovative and responsive academic programs that will develop students' intellectual, personal, and professional growth, enabling them to contribute to the development of the nation.

Section 3: Goals
The goals of Salween University are:
a. To provide accessible and affordable higher education for all students, especially those from working-class and middle-class families, in order to promote social mobility and reduce economic disparities.
b. To develop and offer innovative and responsive academic programs that meet the needs of the rapidly changing economic, social, and technological landscape of Myanmar and the world.
c. To foster an inclusive, diverse, and intellectually stimulating learning environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and global awareness.
d. To prepare students for successful careers and responsible citizenship by developing their personal and professional competencies, including leadership, teamwork, communication, and ethical and social responsibility.
e. To engage in research and community service activities that contribute to the development of the nation and address societal challenges.

Section 4: Non-Profit Status
Salween University is a non-profit organization that operates exclusively for educational purposes. The University shall not engage in any activity that is not consistent with its educational purposes and shall not distribute any profits or earnings to its members, directors, or officers..

Article III: Governance and Administration

Section 1: Salween University shall be governed by a Board of Founders consisting of at least seven members. The Board of Founders shall be responsible for overseeing the university's operations and financial management, and appointing the president of the university.

Section 2: The Board of Founders shall serve for a term of five years and may be reappointed for additional terms.

Section 3: The Board of Founders shall meet at least twice a year, and may hold additional meetings as needed.

Section 4: The Board of Founders shall have the power to establish policies, approve budgets, and authorize expenditures for the university.

Section 5: The Board of Founders shall be composed of individuals who are committed to the mission and vision of Salween University, and who possess expertise and experience in fields such as education, finance, law, or business.

Section 6: The president of Salween University shall be appointed by the Board of Founders, and shall serve as the primary spokesperson and representative of the university.

Section 7: The president shall be responsible for implementing the policies and decisions of the Board of Founders, and for overseeing the academic, administrative, and financial operations of the university.

Section 8: The president shall appoint other senior administrators and faculty members as needed ( See Annex D ), subject to the approval of the Board of Founders.

Section 9: The president shall report regularly to the Board of Founders on the university's progress towards its goals and objectives, and on any significant issues or challenges facing the institution.

Section 10: The president shall work collaboratively with the faculty, staff, and students of Salween University to promote academic excellence, innovation, and diversity, and to foster a positive and inclusive campus culture.

Article IV: Academic Programs

Salween University shall offer a range of academic programs in various fields, but mainly focused on politics and social studies. The academic programs shall be designed to meet the needs of working class and middle class families and promote lifelong learning. The university shall continuously evaluate and update the academic programs to ensure they remain relevant and of high quality.

Article V: Admission and Student Affairs

Salween University shall provide equal opportunities to all individuals who meet the admission requirements for the academic programs. The university shall ensure that its admission processes are transparent, fair, and inclusive. The university shall also provide comprehensive support services to its students to enhance their learning experiences and personal development.

Article VI: Faculty and Staff

Salween University shall hire faculty and staff who are committed to the university's vision and mission. The university shall ensure that its faculty and staff are qualified, competent, and continuously trained to deliver high-quality education and support services to the students.

Article VII: Finance and Resources

Salween University shall operate on a non-profit basis and shall ensure that all revenues are reinvested back into the university to improve academic quality and student experience. The university shall seek funding and resources from various sources, including but not limited to, donations, grants, and partnerships with industry and government.

Article VIII: Amendment of the Charter

Section 1: The provision for amending the charter indicates that the Board of Founders of Salween University has the authority to propose changes to the charter. The board may decide to amend the charter if they deem it necessary or if there are significant changes in the academic, financial, or administrative landscape of the university.

Section 2: To amend the charter, the board must follow a specific process, which usually includes presenting the proposed changes to the entire board for discussion and approval. The board must then vote on the proposed amendments, and at least two-thirds of the board members must approve the changes for them to take effect.

Annex A: Policy that protects from the discrimination

Salween University shall uphold a strict no-discrimination policy in all its operations, activities, and programs. The university shall provide equal opportunities to all students, faculty, staff, and employees regardless of their race, ethnicity, nationality, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, age, or any other characteristic protected by law. Any form of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation shall not be tolerated and shall be subject to appropriate disciplinary actions. Salween University shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to equal opportunity and non-discrimination.

Annex B: Policy that protects from violations of the Academic Record Privacy

Salween University shall uphold a strict academic record privacy policy to ensure the confidentiality of student records.

All academic records shall be kept confidential and shall not be disclosed to any third party without the written consent of the student, except as required by law. Access to academic records shall be restricted to authorized personnel only, and appropriate security measures shall be implemented to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure of such records.

Students shall have the right to access their own academic records and request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete information. The university shall provide students with timely access to their academic records upon request and shall maintain accurate and complete records of such requests and any disclosures of academic records.

Annex C: Policy that protects from sexual harassments

Salween University is committed to providing a safe and respectful learning and working environment that is free from sexual harassment. Sexual harassment includes any unwelcome behavior or conduct of a sexual nature that creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment.

The university has a strict policy against sexual harassment and will not tolerate any form of such behavior. This policy applies to all members of the university community, including students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The university provides education and training on sexual harassment prevention to all members of the community.

အလုပ်သမားနေ့တွင် မွေးဖွားလာသော တက္ကသိုလ်

Salween University ( သံလွင်တက္ကသိုလ် )ကို ၂၀၂၃ ခုနှစ်၊ မေလ ၁ ရက်နေ့၊ ကမ္ဘာ့လုပ်သားများနေ့မှာ တရားဝင် စတင်တည်ထောင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ လုပ်သားပြည်သူလူထုနှင့် လူလတ်တန်းစားပြည်သူလူထုအတွက် အထူးရည်ရွယ်တဲ့ ကိုယ်စားပြုပညာရေးအဖွဲ့အစည်း ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

နိုင်ငံတကာအဆင့်မီပညာရေး

အမှန်တကယ်တော့ နိုင်ငံတကာအဆင့်မီပညာရေးဆိုတာဟာ ပြည်ပထွက် ကျောင်းတက်သူများနဲ့ လက်လှမ်းမီသူများအတွက် သီးသန့်ခံစားခွင့်ဖြစ်နေတဲ့ ဇိမ်ခံပစ္စည်း မဟုတ်ပါဘူး။ အားလုံး ရထိုက်တဲ့အရာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ကျွန်တော်တို့ Salween အနေနဲ့ ဒီ့အတွက် ကြိုစားသွားမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ အခုနေခါမှာ မည်သို့မည်ပုံ ဆောင်ရွက်မယ်ဆိုတာ အသေးစိတ် ပြောဖို့ စောပါသေးတယ်။ အပြောနောက်မှာ အလုပ် ကပ်ပါ မလာနိုင်တာမျိုး မဖြစ်ရအောင် အဆင်သင့်ဖြစ်မှ အသေးစိတ်တင်ပြလိုပါတယ်။ အကြမ်းဖျင်း အပိုင်း ၄ ပိုင်း ခွဲပြီး ဆောင်ရွက်သွားမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

ဖော်ပြခဲ့တဲ့ အစိတ်အပိုင်းတစ်ခုစီမှာ ကျောင်းသားဗဟိုပြု၊ လေးစားစွာ အပြန်အလှန်ဆွေးနွေးကြရမယ့် ပညာရေးယဉ်ကျေးမှုနဲ့ လက်တွေ့အသုံးပြုပညာရပ်များကို စနစ်တကျဖြစ်အောင် ဆောင်ရွက်သွားမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

ကမ္ဘာကြီးကို မောင်းနှင်ကြသူများ

ဒီကနေ့ ကမ္ဘာကြီးကို မောင်းနှင်နေကြသူတွေက Apple, Tesla, Google, Mercedes, Samsung စတဲ့ ကုမ္ပဏီကြီးတွေ မဟုတ်ပါဘူး။ လုပ်သားပြည်သူများနဲ့ လူလတ်တန်းစားများရဲ့ ပညာအား၊ ကာယအားနဲ့ မောင်းနှင်နေတာသာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ထို့အတူပဲ အများစုသော စားသုံးသူများ၊ သုံးစွဲသူများဟာလည်း လုပ်သားပြည်သူများနဲ့ လူလတ်တန်းစားများဖြစ်ကြတဲ့ ကျွန်တော်တို့ကိုယ်တိုင်ပဲ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဒီ့ပြင် မရှိပါဘူး။ လက်တွေ့အသုံးချပညာများနဲ့ လူမှုပညာရပ်များကို ကိုယ်တိုင်တပ်ဆင်ရင်း လူ့အဖွဲ့အစည်းသစ်ကို တည်ဆောက်သွားနိုင်ဖို့ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
