💦 Building Confidence, One Splash at a Time! 🏊‍♂️

🌱It was Pool Day at Sprout, and our Sprout kiddos did more than just cool off—they were hard at work developing essential skills!

🌱Water play is a fantastic form of sensory learning and physical development. Today, we focused on:
🔹 Gross Motor Skills: Kicking, reaching, and splashing helps strengthen growing muscles.
🔹 Coordination & Balance: Navigating the water helps children learn to control their bodies in a new environment.
🔹 Water Confidence: Overcoming hesitation and learning to feel safe and happy in the water.

🌱 Inquiry-Based Learning in Action: The Goat Farm Trip 🐐

Today’s field trip was a perfect example of Immersive Learning. Our goal was to shift the focus from passive listening to active discovery.

Why did we go to the farm?

🌱Visual Processing (Learning by Seeing): By observing the goats in real-time, students enhanced their observational skills, noting patterns and biological traits that a picture in a book simply cannot convey.

🌱Kinesthetic Exploration (Learning by Doing): Our study of the goats allowed the children to engage physically with their subject matter. They walked the terrain, smelled the farm air, and saw how the animals moved and interacted.

Who needs a whiteboard when you have a farm?

Today at Sprout Myanmar, we traded our pencils for boots to practice the art of Learning by Doing.

Our little scientists turned into field researchers as they:
👀 Practiced Observation: Watching the movement and dynamics of the cow flocks.

Real-world exposure builds confidence, vocabulary, and a deeper understanding of biology.
