Phrasal Verb သင်ခန်းစာ (အပိုင်း-၇)
အင်္ဂလိပ်စွမ်းရည်တိုးတက်ဖို့ Phrasal Verbs တွေကိုလေ့လာထားဖို့ လိုအပ်ပါတယ်။
( အင်္ဂလိပ်သင်ခန်းစာတွေကိုမျှဝေပေးနေပါတယ် ။)

ဒီတခါမျှဝေပေးချင်တဲ့ phrasal verb တွေကတော့~
1.Chip in

ဆိုလိုရင်း
~To give money, help, or ideas to a group effort.

- Example
Everyone chipped in to buy a wedding gift.
√ လက်ထပ်ပွဲအတွက် လက်ဆောင်ဝယ်ဖို့ လူတိုင်းက ငွေထည့်ဝင်ကြတယ်။

2. Show off

ဆိုလိုရင်း
~To try to impress people by showing off what you have or what you can do.

∆Example
He always shows off his new phone to his friends.

- သူက သူ့ဖုန်းအသစ်ကို သူငယ်ချင်းတွေကို အမြဲကြွားတတ်တယ်။

3. Go against

- ဆိုလိုရင်း
~To disagree with something or do the opposite of what's expected.

Example
Her decision to quit her job went against her parents’ advice.

√ သူမရဲ့အလုပ်ထွက်ဖို့ဆုံးဖြတ်ချက်ဟာ မိဘတွေရဲ့အကြံပေးချက်ကို ဆန့်ကျင်နေတယ်။

4. Let down

ဆိုလိုရင်း
~ to disappoint someone by failing to do what you promised or were expected to do

- Example

I don't want to let down my parents.
ငါ မိဘ‌တွေကိုစိတ်ပျက်အောင် မလုပ်ချင်ဘူး။

5. Point out

ဆိုလိုရင်း
~To mention or draw attention to something.

Example
She pointed out the spelling mistakes in my report.

သူမက ကျွန်တော့်အစီရင်ခံစာထဲက စာလုံးပေါင်းအမှားတွေကို ထောက်ပြပေးခဲ့တယ်။

6. Vote for

ဆိုလိုရင်း
~To choose someone or something in an election.

- Example
Many people voted for the new policy because it helps the environment.
√ လူအများစုက ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ကို အထောက်အကူပြုတဲ့ မူဝါဒသစ်အတွက် ထောက်ခံမဲပေးခဲ့ကြတယ်။

7. Aim at

ဆိုလိုရင်း
~ To intend or plan to achieve something, or to affect a specific person or group

- Example
This project aims at improving education in rural areas.

√ဒီစီမံကိန်းဟာ ကျေးလက်ဒေသက ပညာရေးကို မြှင့်တင်ဖို့ ရည်ရွယ်တယ်။

အင်္ဂလိပ်စွမ်းရည်တိုးတက်ဖို့ Phrasal Verbs တွေကိုလေ့လာထားဖို့ လိုအပ်ပါတယ်။
(∆အင်္ဂလိပ်သင်ခန်းစာတွေကိုလေ့လာချင်ရင်လေ့လာနိုင်ဖို့ မျှဝေပေးနေပါတယ်)

1.Show around – လှည့်လည်လိုက်ပြတယ်။
He showed us around the museum.
→ သူက ကျနော်တို့ကို ပြတိုက်ကို လိုက်ပြခဲ့တယ်။

2.Call back –ဖုန်း ပြန်ခေါ်တယ်။
I missed your call. I’ll call you back later.
မင်းဖုန်းခေါ်တာ ငါမကိုင်ရဘူး၊ လွတ်သွား တယ်။ ငါနောက်မှ ပြန်ခေါ်မယ်နော်။

3.Come in – အထဲဝင်လာတယ် ။

• Please come in and sit down.
ကျေးဇူးပြု၍ အထဲ ဝင်လာပြီး ထိုင်ပါ။

4.Drop by – တမင်မဟုတ်ဘဲ၊ ကြုံကြိုက်လို့ဝင်လာလည်တယ်။

Drop by my house anytime for coffee.
ကော်ဖီသောက်ဖို့ ဘယ်အချိန်ပဲဖြစ်ဖြစ် ကျနော့် အိမ်ကို ကြုံသလိုဝင်လာလို့ရပါတယ်။

5.Fill in – ဖြည့်စွက်တယ်(ကွက်လပ်)
Fill in the blanks with the correct words.
အကွက်လပ်များကို မှန်ကန်သော စကားလုံးတွေနဲ့ ဖြည့်ပါ။

6.Put away – နေရာတကျထားတယ်၊ သိမ်းဆည်းတယ်။
Put away your toys after playing.
ကစားပြီးနောက် သင့်ရဲ့ အရုပ်‌ေတွကို သေချာသိမ်းဆည်းပါ။

အင်္ဂလိပ်စွမ်းရည်တိုးတက်ဖို့ Phrasal Verbs တွေကိုလေ့လာဖို့ လိုအပ်ပါတယ်။

1.Show around – လှည့်လည်လိုက်ပြတယ်

I showed my younger sister around Yangon.
ကျွန်တော် ညီမလေးကို ရန်ကုန်မြို့ကို လှည့်လည်လိုက်ပြခဲ့တယ်။

2.Come up with – စဉ်းစား‌ဖော်ထုတ်တယ်

We need to come up with a new plan.
ကျနော်တို့ အစီအစဉ်အသစ် တစ်ခု စဉ်းစားဖော်ထုတ်ရမယ်။

3.Put up with – သည်းခံတယ်

I can’t put up with his loud music anymore.
သူ့ရဲ့ အသံကျယ်တဲ့ သီချင်းတွေကိုထပ်ပြီး သည်း မခံနိုင်တော့ဘူး။

4.Look down on – အထင်အမြင်သေးတယ်

• Don’t look down on others because of their jobs.
အခြားသူ‌တွေကို သူတို့လုပ်နေတဲ့အလုပ်ကြောင့် အထင်အမြင် မသေးပါနဲ့။

5. break up - လမ်းခွဲပြတ်စဲတယ်

I think we need to break up.
ငါတို့ လမ်းခွဲသင့်တယ်လို့ ငါထင်တယ်။

ဥပမာ
- We went to the airport to see her off .
သူမကို လေဆိပ်အထိ လိုက်ပို့ဖို့ သွားခဲ့တယ်။
