What a day! Our young designers spent Made in Italy Day re-imagining the world around them — and the results were extraordinary. Italian-style architecture rising on tabletops, a 3D-printed car straight off the design board, a piece of furniture with a built-in table that genuinely made us pause, and the most beautiful violin performance to round it all off. Made in Italy isn't just heritage. It's imagination — and our makers proved it.

A huge thank you to His Excellency Ambassador Nicolò for joining us, for an inspiring speech, and for taking the time to talk with each team about their creations. The kids will remember those conversations for a long time.

A group of Myanmar International School Yangon - MISY Year 4 students came in to explore States of Matter — and instead of textbooks and worksheets, they built machines.

Each group was given a material: rock, wood, metal, chocolate, butter, gold, dry ice. Their challenge? Figure out what happens to their material when you add or remove heat energy — then code it, wire it, and teach it to the rest of the class.

That is science. That is making. That is what we are here for.

Our Term 4 Programs Are Here — Deep Skills, Real Projects, Every Weekday Afternoon

Next week, on April 27, marks the start of a brand new term at MakerXSpace, and we couldn't be more excited about what's coming. Our Term 4 programs are designed as 10-session learning journeys — each one building real skills week by week and ending with a capstone project your child will be proud to show off. When children commit to a track, they don't just try something new — they grow into it.

From Monday to Friday afternoons, we run three different programs each day across two daily time slots (3:15 PM and 4:30 PM), so you can pick the track and the time that fit your family best. Programs are grouped by age and ability, and each session runs 60 minutes.

ဒီဧပြီလဟာ MakerXSpace ရဲ့ သင်တန်းကာလအသစ် (Term 4) စတင်တဲ့ လဖြစ်ပြီးနောက်ရှိလာမယ့် အစီအစဉ်အသစ်တွေအတွက် ကျွန်တော်တို့ အထူးပင်စိတ်လှုပ်ရှားနေပါတယ်။ Term 4 အစီအစဉ်အသစ်တွေကို သင်ခန်းစာ (၁၀) ခုပါဝင်တဲ့ သင်ယူမှုခရီးစဉ်အဖြစ် ပုံဖော်ထားပါတယ်။ တစ်ပတ်ထက်တစ်ပတ် ကျွမ်းကျင်မှုတွေကို အဆင့်ဆင့် တည်ဆောက်သွားမှာဖြစ်ပြီး သင်တန်းအဆုံးမှာတော့ ကလေးတွေ ဂုဏ်ယူစွာနဲ့ ပြသနိုင်မယ့် ပရောဂျက်တစ်ခုကို ကိုယ်တိုင်ဖန်တီးနိုင်မှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ကလေးတွေအနေနဲ့ ဘာသာရပ်တစ်ခုကို စိတ်ဝင်တစား လေ့လာလိုက်စားခြင်းအားဖြင့် အသစ်အဆန်းတစ်ခုကို စမ်းသပ်ရုံတင်မကဘဲ တကယ့်ကျွမ်းကျင်ပိုင်နိုင်သူတွေအဖြစ် ကြီးပြင်းလာမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

တနင်္လာနေ့ မှသောကြာနေ့ မွန်းလွဲပိုင်းအထိ၊ နေ့စဉ် အချိန်အပိုင်းအခြား (၂) ခု (ညနေ ၃:၁၅ နှင့် ၄:၃၀) ခွဲပြီး တစ်ရက်ကို သင်တန်း (၃) မျိုးစီ ဖွင့်လှစ်ထားပါတယ်။ ဒါကြောင့် မိဘတို့အနေဖြင့်ကလေးများအတွက် အဆင်ပြေဆုံးအချိန်နဲ့ ဘာသာရပ်ကို စိတ်ကြိုက်ရွေးချယ်နိုင်ပါတယ်။ သင်တန်းတွေကို အသက်အရွယ်နဲ့ အရည်အချင်းအလိုက် ခွဲခြားထားပြီး သင်ခန်းစာတစ်ခုစီဟာ မိနစ် (၆၀) ကြာမြင့်မှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

Happy Thingyan to our Makerspace Family! As the Padauk flowers bloom and the water festival approaches, it’s time to wash away the old and welcome the new with fresh energy and creativity. We wish all our makers, innovators, and their families a joyful, cool, and safe Thingyan holiday!

To give our team a chance to celebrate and recharge their creative batteries, the Makerspace Center will be closed during the following dates:

Last Sunday, MakerXSpace was packed with families, positive energy, live music, dancing, hands-on making, and tables full of wonderful home-cooked food brought and shared by our community.

Every photo tells a little piece of the day — kids creating, parents connecting, music playing, food being passed around, and so much joy in between.
