ဗိသုကာ / architect ဆိုတာ ဘာလဲ? ဗိသုကာ နဲ့ အင်ဂျင်နီယာ ဘာကွာလဲ?

ဗိသုကာ / architect ဆိုတဲ့ စကားလုံးကို နေ့ စဉ် ထိတွေ့ ကြားဖူးတဲ့သူ အလွန် နည်းပါတယ်၊ အဲဒါကြောင့် ဗိသုကာ / architect ဆိုတာ ဘာလဲ ဆိုတာ အတိအကျ သိတဲ့သူ နည်းပါတယ်။ ဗိသုကာ / architect ဆိုတာ အဆောက်အဦဆိုင်ရာ ကြွမ်းကြင် ပညာရှင် တစ်မျိုးပါ။ အဆောက်အဦဆိုင်ရာ ကြွမ်းကြင် ပညာရှင် ဖြစ်တဲ့ အတွက် သာမန်လူ အတော် များများက အင်ဂျင်နီယာ / engineer သို့မဟုတ် စီဗယ် အင်ဂျင်နီယာ / civil engineer လို့ ထင်မြင် ကြပါတယ်။ တကယ်တော့ လုံးဝ မဟုတ်ပါဘူး။ ဗိသုကာ ပညာ နဲ့ စီဗယ် အင်ဂျင်နီယာ ပညာ ဟာ အဆောက်အဦဆိုင်ရာ ပညာရပ်ခြင်းတူသော်လည်း ပြတား နဲ့ သံ လို သတ္တု ဖြစ် ပေမဲ့ ကွာခြား မှုတွေ ရှိပါတယ်။ ဘာတွေ ကွာခြားလဲ ဆိုရင် ဗိသုကာ ပညာ ဆိုတာ အဆောက်အဦ ရဲ့ နေထိုင်အသုံးပြု ပုံ (function) နဲ့ ပုံပမ်းသဏ္ဍန် (form) ကို လူတွေ အသုံးပြု ပုံပေါ် မှာအခြေခံပြီး ရုပ်လုံးဖော် ဖန်တီးပေးတဲ့ ပညာရပ် ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဗိသုကာ ပညာ ဟာ အဆောက်အဦ ရဲ့ တင့်တယ် လှပ မှု အပိုင်း တစ်ခုတည်း ကို တာဝန်ယူရတာ မဟုတ်ပါဘူး။ ဗိသုကာ ပညာရပ်ဟာ လူနေထိုင်ရာ အတွင်းနဲ့ အပြင် နေရာဘုံ (space) ကို လူတွေ အသုံးပြုဖို့ အတွက် တင့်တယ် လှပအောင်၊ ဘေးအန္တ ရာယ်ကင်း ပြီး လုံခြုံအောင်၊ နေထိုင် တဲ့ အခါ သက်တောင့်သက်သာ ရှိအောင်နဲ့ အသုံးပြု ရ အဆင်ပြေ အောင် စသဖြင့် စီမံ ဖန်တီးပေးတဲ့ ပညာရပ် ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ စီဗယ် အင်ဂျင်နီယာ / civil engineer ပညာရပ် ကတော့ အဆောက်အဦရဲ့ တောင့်တင်းခိုင်မာမှု (strength) နဲ့ အကောင်အထည်ဖော် တည်ဆောက်ရေး (construction) အပိုင်းကို ပိုအလေးထားတဲ့ ပညာရပ် ဖြစ် ပါတယ်။ တကယ်တော့ ဗိသုကာ တွေ နဲ့ အင်ဂျင်နီယာ တွေ က အဆောက်အဦ တစ်လုံး ရုပ်လုံးပေါ် လာပြီး တည်ဆောက် ပြီးမြောက်ဖို့ သက်ဆိုင်ရာ တာဝန်တွေ ကို အတူတူ ပူးပေါင်း လုပ်ဆောင်ရတဲ့ ကြွမ်းကြင် ပညာရှင်တွေ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်၊ တောင့်တင်းခိုင်မာ အရည်အသွေး ပြည့်ဝ ရုံမကဘဲ တင့်တယ်လှပ ပြီး အသုံးပြု နေထိုင် သူတွေ အတွက် သင့်တင့်ကောင်းမွန် တဲ့အဆောက်အဦ တစ်လုံး ဖြစ်မြောက်ဖို့ ကိုင်းကျွန်းမှီ သ‌ဘောနဲ့ မရှိမဖြစ် လိုအပ်တဲ့ ပညာရှင်တွေ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

STOP USING VS in comparing the two, they have different scopes of equal importance

stop linking Civil engineering to safety as both are responsible for safety

Stop linking architecture to artistry as both designers can be artistic.

Remember the term Architect simply means Chief Builder refering to the person who led the construction before the word civil engineer existed as an occupation .
