Our Year 4 students proved the opposite during their field trip to Bago.
Under the shade of the Golden Palace, they held an open-talk session that amazed our teachers—their excitement, curiosity, and pride in learning Myanmar history were truly inspiring.
As true educators, when we teach children their own history, we must guide them to understand not only victories and achievements, but also to reflect through 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆. These values remain essential in every era.

What surprised us most was their deeper knowledge: they eagerly shared and asked questions about the Axis and Allied countries, the collapse of the Soviet Union, the story of Hong Kong, and even expressed their own thoughts about the conflicts between Ukraine and Russia, and Israel and Palestine.

It was a magical moment that reminded us:
✨ we are not only to raise skilled technocrats of the 21st century, but also young people who care about culture, history, and humanity.

The Year 4 field trip became a truly remarkable experience for both teachers and the school—
a beautiful reminder that our children always carry hidden interests waiting to shine.

Sparking Curiosity: A Trip to the Energy Museum! ⚡️🇲🇲

They say information should be "age-appropriate," but we believe children are naturally hungry for more! 🌟 Kids are born with a wild sense of curiosity, and as educators, it's our job to fan those sparks of exploration.

Even though "Energy" might seem like a big, complex topic, our Year 3 students are already diving into it!
A visit to the Energy Museum was the perfect way to bring their studies to life. It’s not just about science—it’s about discovering the incredible natural resources right here in Myanmar.

When we give children the chance to explore the "unknown," their excitement is truly limitless.
Let them touch, see, and wonder—you’ll be amazed at what they can do! 🚀🙌

It is not easy to bring Alpha generation children, who live much of their daily lives in a virtual world, to a place where only grass, insects, and open land can be seen. It is even more challenging to encourage them to complete three hours of trekking through hills and tribal areas.

Yet, surprisingly—and almost magically—they not only completed the journey, but exceeded our expectations.

If someone were to ask what the most meaningful moment is for us as a school community, we would say it is the moment when we see our children’s faces light up with bright smiles, hear their laughter ring out in excitement, and witness their joyful curiosity as they reconnect with the nature that is truly their own.

We introduced the Popa Langur to our students during their excursion to Mount Popa last year.
Since then, we have continued to raise awareness about this rare and precious species of Myanmar.
It is important for our children to understand that the world needs dedicated efforts to preserve biodiversity, rather than focusing only on inventing new technologies or developing powerful weapons.

It is our heartfelt pleasure to share that some of our students’ artwork will be displayed at this event, organized by young people in Myanmar who are dedicated to raising public awareness.

🌿 A Journey Beyond the Classroom – Hpa-An Exploration Trip!

Our secondary students traded their screens for sunshine and set off on an unforgettable journey to Hpa-An, the land of natural beauty and cultural treasures in Kareen State. 🌄

From climbing majestic mountain to exploring mysterious caves, dipping toes in cool streams, and discovering hidden ponds, every step brought them closer to nature — and further from their comfort zones! 💪

They also experienced the heart of Kareen culture, meeting locals and tasting delicious traditional dishes like Talapaw curry and other home-style Kayin favorites. 🍛💚

The most thrilling part?
Rafting and hiking!
For many, the hike was a big challenge — especially for those more used to adventures in the virtual world than on real mountain trails.
But with teamwork, laughter, and a little motivation from their teachers, they made it to the top — and the feeling was unforgettable! 🏞✨

It was more than a school trip — it was a reminder that the best lessons happen outside the classroom, surrounded by nature, culture, and courage. 🌏💚

Bullying and mobbing are no longer rare incidents—they're becoming a trend. A dangerous one. At our school, we decided not to look away. We sat down with our students and asked a simple but powerful question:

“𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞?”

This led to a meaningful and honest discussion.

We talked about the kind of society we want to live in—
one that values 𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨, 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙩, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙝𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙙𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮.

We made it clear:

𝐍𝐨 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐭, 𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐭, 𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞.
𝐖𝐞 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬: 𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐚𝐜𝐭, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲.

But the conversation didn’t stop there. Our students—brave, smart, and thoughtful—challenged the issue further.

“What if the bully has power?”
“What if they use money or authority to twist the truth?”
“What if standing up makes it worse?”

These were not easy questions—but they were real. And we talked through them honestly.

We reminded our students that doing the right thing isn’t always easy—but it matters.

By the end of the discussion, something beautiful happened.
Our students understood:

𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒖𝒑 𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒕 𝒃𝒖𝒍𝒍𝒚𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒔𝒏’𝒕 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒇𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒔𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝒓𝒖𝒍𝒆𝒔.

And that is a lesson that will stay with them far beyond the classroom.

Teacher: “We sang Five Little Ducks to remember our numbers. What song would you like to sing now?”

Students: “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Teacher!”

This morning’s small moment in our preschool classroom was more than it looked- it was the start of something bigger— a culture of choice, respect, and shared joy.

At just three years old, children are learning:

🔹That they can make choices and be heard

🔹That their preferences are considered with care

And the teacher models how to:

➡️Invite participation

➡️Balance individual desires with group harmony

These moments plant the seeds for responsible, expressive adulthood.

🌿✨ A Day with Nature: Birdwatching & Conservation in Tet Seit Village ✨🌿

🦜📚 We headed to Tet Seit Village in Wakema Township—a vibrant community conservation area home to over 100 Sarus Cranes and many rare bird species! 🐦✨

🌾 Nestled in this peaceful ecosystem are over 100 Sarus Cranes, the tallest flying birds in the world, along with a stunning variety of rare and migratory bird species. Students had the rare chance to witness these majestic creatures in their natural habitat—an unforgettable experience that brings textbooks to life! 🌍💚

Beyond birdwatching, our students explored the importance of wetland ecosystems, discussed community-led conservation, and reflected on how they can help protect our environment. 🌍

The future of conservation starts with awareness, and it begins with our YOUTH !!!!
