မြင်ပါများရင်ချစ်ကျွမ်းမဝင်ဘဲ မြင်ပါများရောလာချင်တဲ့ vocabulary တွေရှိတယ်နော် ‼️
ဒါတွေဒီနေ့ပြောပြပေးမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ (Part -1)
1️⃣ Affect & Effect
Affect (V) သက်ရောက်သည် ။
How will this new law affect me ?
Effect (Noun) သက်ရောက်မှု
What will the effect of the new law be ?
2️⃣ bare & bear
Bare (adj) ဗလာ ( ဘာမှမဖုံးအုပ်ထားသော)
We run along the beach with bare feet.
Bear (Noun ) ဝက်ဝံ
There are bears in the woods.
Bear ( V ) သည်းခံသည်
I can't bear spiders.
3️⃣ Base & Bass
Base - အောက်ခြေ (အခြေခံ)
I had a pain in the base of my spine.
Bass - အသံနိမ့်နိမ့်ဆိုနိုင်သောအမျိုးသားအဆိုတော် (Noun) (or) အသံနိမ့်သော (adj)
She plays bass guitar.

ဒီနေ့မှာ " Listening " တိုးတက်ချင်တဲ့လူငယ်တွေအတွက် resources အချို့ကို Sharing ပေးချင်ပါတယ် ။
" listening " နားထောင်တဲ့ခါ အရာရာအားလုံးကို လိုက်နားထောင်နေစရာမလိုဘဲအဓိက key point တွေကိုဖမ်းတတ်ရင်တော်တော်အဆင်ပြေပါတယ် ။ ဒါကြောင့် ဒီနေ့မှာ " Listening & Note taking " ဆိုတဲ့ စာအုပ်လေးကိုမျှဝေပေးပါရစေ။
ဒီစာအုပ်မှာ Listening skill + Note taking skill တွေသာမကပဲ အခန်းတစ်ခန်းစီရဲ့အစမှာ Vocabulary corner ကိုထည့်သွင်းပေးထားတာမို့ အရမ်းအဆင်ပြေပါတယ် ။ ဒါအပြင် General Knowledge လည်းရမှာမို့ အခုပဲ download ဆွဲပြီး စလေ့လာသင့်တဲ့စာအုပ်တစ်အုပ်ပါနော် ။

ဒီနေ့လေးမှာ "Amount or Number ?" ဆိုတဲ့ ခေါင်းစဉ်အောက်မှာ ပြောပြပေးပါမယ်
◼️Do not use "amount" in front of plural countable nouns .
🔷 အများနာမ်ရှေ့မှာ "amount" ကိုမသုံးပါဘူးနော်
Example - There were a large amount of people there. လို့ပြောရင် ❌ မှားပါတယ်နော်
There were a large number of people there.လို့သုံးမှ ✅ မှန်ပါမယ်နော်
◼️ Use "amount" in front of uncountable nouns.
🔷 ရေတွက်မရတဲ့နာမ်တွေရှေ့မှာတော့ "amount"ကိုသုံးလို့ရပါတယ်
Example - We only need a small amount of money . ✅
အားလုံးပဲ amount နဲ့ number ကို ကောင်းကောင်းသုံးတတ်သွားမယ်လို့ မျှော်လင့်ပါတယ်

Single ဘဝနဲ့နေပင်မယ့် ကိုယ့်အနားမှာ ချစ်ရတဲ့သူငယ်ချင်းတွေ မိသားစုဝင်တွေ ညီအစ်ကိုမောင်နှမတွေရှိနေမယ်ဆိုရင်အထီးကျန်စရာအကြောင်းမရှိပါဘူး

ဒီနေ့မှာတော့ "Able or Capable?" ဆိုတဲ့ခေါင်းစဉ်လေးဆွေးနွေးပေးပါမယ်
တကယ်တော့ Able ရော capable ရော နှစ်ခုလုံးက "ကျွန်တော်တို့လုပ်နိုင်တဲ့အရာတွေကိုဖော်ပြတဲ့ခါ" သုံးတာခြင်းတူပါတယ်
(Can+ infinitive Verb(V1) နဲ့အနည်းလေးအဓိပ္ပါယ်လေး ဆင်ပါတယ် )
Able and capable are both used to say that someone can do something.
ဒါပေမဲ့ သုံးပုံသုံးနည်း pattern လေးတော့မတူပါဘူး 🤩
🔷Verb to be + able + to + infinitive verb
We were able to see the horses.
I am able to read this book written in English.
🔷 Verb to be + capable + of + Present participle (Ving)

"(have) egg on your face " ဆိုတဲ့ idiom လေးပါ
Meaning: To look foolish or be embarrassed.
အဓိပ္ပါယ်ကတော့ "အရှက်ကွဲပါပြီး " ဖြစ်ပါတယ်
Example: Terry had egg on his face after boasting that the examinations were really easy, but ended up failing most of his papers.
I had egg on my face after getting the exam result.
