အက္ခရာတွေမှာ ဗျည်း နဲ့ သရ နှစ်မျိုးရှိတယ်။
မြန်မာအက္ခရာဆို က ကနေ အ အထိ ၃၃ လုံး ရှိပြီး သရမှာ ၁၄ လုံးအထိရှိတယ်။ သင်ရိုးသရကတော့ ၁၂ လုံး ရှိတယ်။
အင်္ဂလိပ်အက္ခရာ Alphabet ၂၆ လုံးထဲမှာပဲ သရ (vowel) နဲ့ ဗျည်း (Consonant) ပေါင်းပြီး ပါတယ်။
