Today Idiomsလေး Sharing လုပ်ပေးမယ်နော်။ Exampleလေးတွေနဲ့ ရှင်းပေးထားပေမယ့် ကိုယ်သုံးမယ့် Tenseလေးတွေတော့ မှန်အောင်သုံးပေးနော်။

ပထမတခုက - Apples and oranges
Meaning- Two unlike things or people
မတူညီတဲ့အရာ သိူ့မဟုတ် လူ ပုဂ္ဂိုလ်
- the items that can't be compared with each other
တခုနှင့်တခု မနှိုင်းယှဥ်သင့်တဲ့ အရာ
မြန်မာလို တိုက်ရိုက်ဘာသာပြန်ရင်တော့
ပြဒါးတလမ်း သံတလမ်းဆိုတဲ့ အဓိပ္ပါယ်ရပါတယ်။

Example -(1) My mom and my mother-in-law are just apples and oranges.
ငါ့အမေနဲ့ ငါ့ယောက္ခမကတော့ ပြဒါးတလမ်း သံတလမ်းပဲ။

(2) You can't compare those two companies. They are just apples and oranges.
မင်း အဲ့ဒီ ကုမ္ပဏီ၂ ခုကို မနှိုင်းယှဥ်သင့်ဘူး။သူတို့က ပြဒါးတလမ်း သံတလမ်းလေ။

ဒုတိယတခုက - Go bananas
Meaning - become very angry or act crazy.
အလွန်စိတ်ဆိုးလာတဲ့အခါမှာ ဒါမှမဟုတ် ရူးမတတ်ခံစားရတဲ့အချိန်မှာ Go Bananasဆိုတဲ့ Idiomကို သုံးပါတယ်

နောက်တခုက To express great excitement about something in an exuberant manner
တခုခုကို အရမ်းစိတ်လှုပ်ရှား အံ့အားသင့်တဲ့အခါ ဖော်ပြတဲ့နေရာမှာ သုံးပါတယ်။

Example (1) She went bananas when she heard she won the first prize in the contest.

ပထမဆုံးက Dead to the worldဖြစ်ပါတယ်
Meaning- sleeping soundly or deeply.
- drunk ( alcohol intoxicated)

အဓိပ္ပါယ်က အလွန်နှစ်နှစ်ခြိုက်ခြိုက်အိပ်မောကျနေသည် သို့မဟုတ် အရက်မူးနေသည်ဆိုတဲ့ အဓိပ္ပာယ်ပါ

Eg-(1) Don't worry.The vacuum cleaner won't wake him up because he is dead to the world.

စိတ်မပူပါနဲ့ ဒီဖုန်စုပ်စက်အသံက သူ့ကိုမနိုးစေနိုင်ပါဘူး
သူက အလွန်နှစ်နှစ်ခြိုက်ခြိုက်အိပ်မောကျနေတာပဲ။

-(2)Do you remember last night at the bar at all? You were dead to the world.

မင်းမနေ့က ဘားမှာ ဖြစ်ခဲ့တာတွေ အားလုံးမှတ်မိရဲ့လား။ မင်းအရမ်းမူးနေခဲ့တာလေ။

ကလေးတွေ အိပ်မောကျနေတော့လဲ အိမ်က တိတ်ဆိတ်နေတာပဲ။

ဒုတိယတခုကတော့ ( you can't / never / don't) judge a book by its coverဖြစ်ပါတယ် သူ့ရဲ့အရှေ့မှာ can't - cannot or don't-do notဆိုတာလေး သုံးလို့ရပါတယ်

Meaning- It's not good to decide about something based on its outward appearance only.

သူ့ရဲ့အဓိပ္ပါယ်ကတော့ တစုံတခုကို အပြင်ပန်းကြည့်ရုံနဲ့ မဆုံးဖြတ်သင့်ဘူးဆိုတဲ့အဓိပ္ပါယ်ပါ။

မင်းအပြင်ပန်းကြည့်ရုံနဲ့ဆုံးဖြတ်လို့မရဘူးလေ။တချို့လူချမ်းသာတွေက ဂျင်းဘောင်းဘီနဲ့တီရှပ်လောက်ပဲ ဝတ်တာ။

ဒီနေရာမှာ Can't judge a book by its coverဆိုတဲ့ အသုံးအနှုန်းကို နားလည်လောက်ပြီထင်ပါတယ်။

နောက်ဆုံးတခုကတော့ Apple of someone's eyeဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

Meaning- someone or something that is very important to someone.
-someone or something that someone likes very much.
-is used frequently to describe someone who is special.

အဓိပ္ပါယ်ကတော့ တစုံတယောက်ရဲ့ အရမ်းအရေးပါတဲ့ တစုံတယောက် ဒါမှမဟုတ် တစုံတခု
-တစုံတယောက် အရမ်းသဘောကျတဲ့သူ သို့မဟုတ် တစုံတခု
-တစုံတယောက်ရဲ့ အချစ်ရဆုံးသူကို ပြောချင်တဲ့နေရာမှာ သုံးတဲ့ Idiomလေးဖြစ်ပါတယ်

Eg-(1) He is the apple of my eye.

သူက ငါ့အချစ်ရဆုံးသူလေ။

(2) She has three children but her youngest son is the apple of her eye.

သူမမှာ သားသမီး၃ယောက်ရှိပေမယ့် အငယ်ဆုံးသားလေးကတော့ သူမအချစ်ဆုံးလေ။

(3)My brother loves his wife but his cat is the apple of his eye.

ငါ့အကိုက သူ့မိန်းမကို ချစ်ပေမယ့် သူ့ကြောင်ကိုတော့ သူအချစ်ဆုံးပဲ။

(4)My mother never liked me very much but i was the apple of my grandmother's eye.

ငါ့အမေကတော့ ငါ့ကိုသိပ်သဘောမကျခဲ့ပေမယ့် ငါကတော့ အဖွားရဲ့ အချစ်ဆုံးဖြစ်ခဲ့တာလေ။

ဥပမာလေးတွေနဲ့အတူ Idiomလေးတွေကို ရှင်းပြပေးခဲ့တာဆိုတော့အကုန်လဲ နားလည်မယ်လို့ ထင်ပါတယ်။ Thank u all for reading this post......
