Role Overview

Fellowship International Study Center (F.I.S.C.), Yangon is looking for a qualified and passionate Primary or Secondary Global Citizenship Teacher to join our school and deliver the Pearson Edexcel Global Citizenship curriculum. The successful candidate will develop and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and prepare students for Edexcel examinations while promoting a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with Pearson Edexcel specifications.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
• Develop a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
• Integrate global issues, sustainability, and social responsibility into teaching.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and extracurricular activities.
• Engage with parents, students, and the school community to support student development.

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies, Global Studies, Politics, Sociology, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience, preferably with Edexcel or international curriculum.
• Proven ability to teach and assess at primary & secondary.
• Strong classroom management, planning, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms is a plus.

As the weather becomes hotter, we would like to remind our students, parents, teachers, staff and everyone to take simple precautions to stay safe and prevent heat stroke.

👕 Wear light, comfortable clothing

🕶️ Avoid direct sun exposure during the hottest hours (11 AM – 3 PM)

🏫 Stay in cool, shaded, and well-ventilated areas whenever possible

🏃 Reduce strenuous outdoor activities during peak heat

🍉 Enjoy fruits and light meals to stay refreshed and hydrated

Please keep a close eye on children and older family members, as they are more vulnerable to heat-related illnesses.

⚠️ Warning signs to watch for: dizziness, headache, nausea, unusual tiredness, or fainting. If these occur immediately and seek medical attention if needed.

ကျွန်မတို့ရဲ့ တန်ဖိုးမဖြတ်နိုင်တဲ့ ကျောင်းသား၊ကျောင်းသူလေးများကို လိုသူကို ဖေးမကူညီနိုင်ရန်မှာ အသက်အရွယ်ငယ်သည်၊ ကြီးသည်နှင့်မသက်ဆိုင်ပဲ ကူညီချင်သည့် လက်တစ်စုံနှင့် ကြင်နာပေးကမ်းချင်သည့် နှလုံးသား သာလိုအပ်ကြောင်း မိဘ၊ ဆရာ ပူးပေါင်းပြီး အတူတကွသင်ပြပေးနိုင်ခဲ့တဲ့ Fundraising Event နောက်ဆက်တွဲ လှူဒါန်းမှု ပုံရိပ်လေးများကို မျှဝေကြည့်ရှု ပီတိဖြစ်ပေးကြပါအုံးရှင်။

We would like to extend our thanks to our wonderful Primary and Secondary students who worked so hard and gave their best efforts in the recent Fundraising Event of Fellowship International Study Center (F.I.S.C.).

With the dedication of our students and the support from parents and teachers, we were able to share kindness and support with communities in need through the following contributions:

✅ Nutritious lunch meals for 200 children who are receiving medical treatment at Helpin Children Hospital

✅ Total donation (1,500,000 MMK) for the volunteer instructors of the Walking Book Mobile Library’s Summer School Programs, including Basic Computer Training and Hand Abacus (Level 1 & 2)

✅ Breakfast and lunch donations for children at New Life Orphanage in Dala Township

✅ Lunch donations for students from the Dala Yay Chan Sin Learning Center

✨ Through this experience, our students also learned an important lesson that their efforts, no matter how small, can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Together with parents and teachers, we were able to show our precious students that helping others does not depend on age. All it takes is a helping hand and a compassionate heart.
