𝑨 𝑺𝒚𝒎𝒑𝒉𝒐𝒏𝒚 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑴𝒚 𝑭𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓: 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑭𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒂𝒏𝒕
"Let this performance of 𝑪𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒚 𝑩𝒆𝒓𝒓𝒚’𝒔 '𝑭𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒂𝒏𝒕' be the tribute my father always deserved.

It was his heart’s greatest desire to see me conduct—to watch the music take shape under my hands. When I was completing my journey in Singapore, he longed to stand by my side at my graduation, but his weary body would not allow it. He had to love me and be proud of me from a distant shore, his spirit reaching across the miles where his footsteps could not go.

The lyrics of this anthem cry out: '𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒔𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒈𝒐𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒍 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒔𝒉𝒂𝒎𝒆.' I saw this truth in his every breath. Though his legs grew weak and he suffered the sting of falling in the eyes of the world, he never let his spirit stumble. He was a missionary to the very end, pouring out his life for a higher calling, unashamed and unafraid.

I find peace knowing that as he stepped into the light of the Kingdom, he was met not with the frailty of this world, but with the eternal embrace of his Master, saying: 'Well done, My good and faithful servant.'

I carry you in every note I lead. I miss you, Dad."
