📢📢 FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITY 📢📢
📌 The Human Rights Leadership Fellow program is designed to bring together talented young professionals from Burma to advance their skills in human rights leadership, documentation, research, advocacy and network building. The inaugural fellows will be provided expert training from the Yangon Youth Leadership Fellowship's leadership team to explore issues pertaining to their respective communities, such as sexual violence, the refugee crisis in Bangladesh and community building – culminating in a research paper, campaign, or any other project of interest. Selected fellows may be provided opportunities to represent YYLC’s managing organization, Women’s Peace Network, to its Burmese and international advocacy and media partners.
📌 Upon their acceptance of YYLC’s offer, selected candidates will be awarded a stipend to support their fellowship.
📌 Fellowship requirements
✅ Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
✅ Ability to work in flexible time zones
✅ Proficiency in English and at least one other language, such as Burmese, Rohingya or Rakhine
✅ Minimum of ten hours per week
✅ Participation in trainings and meetings as required
✅ Strong interpersonal skills
✅ Commitment to human rights principles and values
📌 Application
