Word of the Day: Reckless (adj.)
Pronunciation: /ˈrek.ləs/
Definition: Doing something risky without worrying about the dangerous results.
Remember the pure joy of breaking rules as a kid?
It's pouring rain, and your parents strictly say, "Do not go outside!" But the moment they look away, you sneak out anyway. You run into the yard, splash in the mud, and laugh—total freedom!
In that moment, you are being reckless.
You know trouble is coming. You turn around and see Mom standing at the door... patiently waiting with a bamboo stick in her hand. Your fun is about to end, but for those few minutes, it was completely worth it!
Example Sentences:
"Sneaking out to play in the heavy rain was my most reckless childhood memory."
"I was a reckless kid, but Mom waiting with that stick brought me back to reality fast!"

What is one funny reckless thing you did when you were young? Did your parents have a "bamboo stick" to keep you in line?
