We had a wonderful and informative session at our preschool with 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥.

The founder of Kings International School, Sayar William, shared valuable information about the school’s campuses, their educational aims, and their vision for the children’s future. He also gave us meaningful insights into education and parenting, which provided us with thoughtful perspectives on supporting children in their growth and development.

The Admissions Manager also explained the school’s programs and fee structure, giving us a clear understanding of the opportunities available for families.

Knobbed Cylinders တွေဟာ မွန်တက်ဆိုရီ စာသင်ခန်းတွေမှာ လူကြိုက်အများဆုံး သင်ထောက်ကူတစ်ခု ဖြစ်နေရတဲ့ အကြောင်းရင်း ရှိပါတယ်။ ကလေးတွေက ပျော်စရာကောင်းတဲ့ Matching Game လေး လုပ်နေတယ်လို့ ထင်ရပေမဲ့ တကယ်တော့ သူတို့အတွက် အရေးကြီးတဲ့ အခြေခံ ကျွမ်းကျင်မှုတွေကို တည်ဆောက်နေတာပါ။

▪️ စာရေးဖို့ အဆင်သင့်ပြင်နေတဲ့ လက်ချောင်းလေးများ
သေးငယ်တဲ့ လက်ကိုင်ဖုလေးတွေကို ဆုပ်ကိုင်တာက နောင်တစ်ချိန် စာရေးတဲ့အခါ လိုအပ်တဲ့ လက်သုံးချောင်း ဆုပ်ကိုင်မှု (pincer grip) ကို သဘာဝကျကျ လေ့ကျင့်ပေးပါတယ်။

ကလေးတွေအတွက် လက်နဲ့ထိတွေ့ကိုင်တွယ်ပြီး လေ့လာသင်ယူရတာဟာ ဘာနဲ့မှမတူအောင် ထူးခြားပါတယ်။

ပုံမှန်စာသင်ခန်းတစ်ခုမှာ ကလေးတွေဟာ စာရွက်ပေါ်က စာလုံးအက္ခရာတွေကို မျက်စိအမြင်နဲ့မှတ်ပြီး စာရွက်မှာ လိုက်ရေးကြရပေမဲ့ မွန်တက်ဆိုရီ စာသင်ခန်းထဲမှာတော့ သူတို့ဟာ အက္ခရာတွေကို လက်တွေ့ ထိတွေ့ခံစားပြီး သင်ယူကြရပါတယ်။

Ever wonder how young children learn to understand numbers all the way up to 99 without getting overwhelmed? In Montessori, math isn't about memorizing abstract symbols on a page, it's something you can touch, see, and build!

In this picture, our preschoolers worked with the 𝐒𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 and 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐬. By pairing physical bead bars (representing quantities of 10) with wooden number cards, abstract concepts transform into concrete understanding.

Through this lesson, children are learning:
▪️ 𝐍𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 & 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐲: Connecting the spoken name (e.g., "forty") with the physical amount of beads.
▪️ 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭: Understanding that numbers are made of tens and units.
▪️ 𝐃𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐋𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜: Building sequence and order from 11 up to 99.

This week, our preschoolers took charge of their own mealtime by making their very own sandwiches!

In Montessori, food preparation is a powerful Practical Life activity that builds:

▪️ Independence & Self-Reliance: "I can feed myself!"
▪️ Fine Motor Control: Practicing hand strength, knife safety, and coordination.
▪️ Sequential Thinking: Learning the step-by-step process of preparing a meal.
▪️ Pride & Joy: Food always tastes better when you make it yourself!

Watching their faces light up with pride (and enjoying every single bite) was the best part of our day.

လုပ်ဆောင်မှုတစ်ခုစီရဲ့ "နောက်ကွယ်က ရည်ရွယ်ချက်"

ကျမတို့ကျောင်းက မူကြိုကလေးလေးတွေဟာ ပလတ်စတစ် မီးဖိုချောင်သုံးကစားစရာတွေနဲ့ ကစားမယ့်အစား တကယ့်အိမ်အလုပ်တွေဖြစ်တဲ့ ရေလောင်းတာ၊ တံမြက်စည်းလှည်းတာ၊ ပန်းကန်ဆေးတာတွေကို ဘာကြောင့် လုပ်နေကြတာလဲလို့ တွေးဖူးပါသလား။ 🧼✨

မွန်တက်ဆိုရီ (Montessori) သင်ကြားနည်းမှာတော့ ဒါတွေကို "လက်တွေ့ဘဝ အလေ့အကျင့်ဆိုင်ရာ လှုပ်ရှားမှုများ (Practical Life activities)" လို့ ခေါ်ပါတယ်။ ဒါတွေဟာ အိမ်အလုပ် ရိုးရိုးလေးတွေ မဟုတ်ပါဘူး။ ကလေးတွေရဲ့ ဦးနှောက်ဖွံ့ဖြိုးမှုအတွက် အဓိကလိုအပ်တဲ့ အုတ်မြစ်ကို တည်ဆောက်ပေးနေတာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

ကလေးတစ်ယောက် ခွက်ထဲကို ရေလောင်းထည့်နေတဲ့အခါ သူတို့ဟာ အောက်ပါ စွမ်းရည်တွေကို မသိမသာ လေ့ကျင့်နေကြတာပါ။
▪️ အာရုံစူးစိုက်မှုနဲ့ နက်ရှိုင်းစွာ အာရုံစိုက်နိုင်စွမ်း
▪️ လက်ချောင်းငယ်များ လှုပ်ရှားမှု ထိန်းချုပ်နိုင်စွမ်း (နောင်တစ်ချိန်မှာ စာရေးသားနိုင်ဖို့အတွက် လက်နဲ့ မျက်စိ ဟန်ချက်ညီအောင် လေ့ကျင့်ပေးခြင်း ဖြစ်ပါတယ်)

When a child pours water into a cup, they are secretly practicing:

▪️ Fine motor control (hand-eye coordination for writing later!)
▪️ Self-correction (if it spills, they wipe it up!)
▪️ Independence & self-worth ("I did it myself!")
