🚗 Vroom Vroom! Our Little Engineers are on the Move!

Our students recently took a deep dive into the world of Transportation. By combining art with engineering, they learned all about moving vehicles through a hands-on Paper Plate Craft & Card-making project.

Using a mix of painting and cut-and-paste techniques, our young creators explored Different Vehicles and mastered Fine Motor Skills integrating shapes and logics.

Seeing the pride on their faces as they "drove" their paper creations around the classroom was the highlight of our week. Check out their amazing designs below! 🏎️💨

🌍 Bringing the World to Life

To master the 7 Continents, our young explorers traded in their textbooks for brushes, glue, and paper mâché. By creating these vibrant 3D posters, students gained a hands-on understanding of our world’s geography. Through this creative learning process, students develop spatial awareness, collaboration and fine mortor skills.

From the icy reaches of Antarctica to the sprawling plains of Africa, the world feels a lot smaller (and more colorful!) when you’re building it yourself.

Last week, Class 2 had a great outdoor activity as junior botanists! 🌿🔍

We spent the morning exploring the wonderful world of plants, getting up close and personal with the greenery in our own backyard. From the tiniest to the largest, the students learned that no two leaves are exactly alike.

The best part? Seeing the students realize that science isn't just in a textbook—it’s growing right under our feet!

Ready to take a deep breath? 🫁🎈

Our Class 3 scientists turned the classroom into a lab today to explore the incredible world of the human respiratory system!

To understand how our lungs actually work, we didn't just read about it—we built our own working models using nothing but paper, bottles, and balloons. It was a "breathtaking" hands-on lesson in biology!

Our Class 1 have been busy at weaving, and the results are nothing short of amazing. Watching them collaborate to create this intricate masterpiece was a total highlight—who knew we had such talented little architects in our midst?

🌱 Learning About Plants 🌱
Class 2 got out of their classroom for the great outdoors this week! ☀️ Our Northern Lights Academy explorers headed out of the classroom to get a hands-on look at the secret life of plants.

From identifying local leaves to learning how every tiny root plays a part in our ecosystem, these young botanists are seeing the world in a whole new shade of green. 🌿✨

There’s no better way to learn about nature than by getting a little dirt on your hands!
