The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is a globally recognized, English-medium curriculum designed for students aged 14 to 16, typically covering Grades 9 and 10. Developed by Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) and other boards like Edexcel, it is often viewed as a more internationally relevant alternative to the British GCSE. While formally for older students, the IGCSE framework is frequently used as a, "pre-IGCSE" pathway (Cambridge Lower Secondary) in primary and middle years to build fundamental skills. ​

What is the IGCSE Curriculum?
Broad & Balanced: Offers 70+ subjects in 5+ areas: Languages, Humanities, Social Sciences, Mathematics, Creative/Technical, and Vocational.
Assessment Structure: Primarily exam-based with a focus on written, oral, and practical coursework, testing knowledge, understanding, and application.
