This week, our Primary 1 students turned into young scientists as they explored the question: “What does a seed need to grow into a healthy plant?” 🌿

Our students observed seeds placed in different conditions:
☀️ In the light - the plant grew green, strong and healthy.
🌑 In the dark - the plant grew weak, thin and pale, showing it could not make food without sunlight.
💧 Too much water - the seed could not grow well because the roots had no air to breathe.
🚱 No water - the seed stayed dry and did not grow at all.

Through this hands-on investigation, the students discovered that plants, just like people, need the right balance to stay healthy. They learned that light, air and water are all important but too much or too little can stop a plant from growing. 💦🌿

What a wonderful way to combine science, observation and curiosity in the classroom. 🤎🌱
