The Wide Horizons program is a professional organizational development course for young, diverse staff members from organizations from Myanmar and the Thai-Myanmar border. The program consists of a 10 month intensive study and field work course in community development followed by a 10-month work placement with an organization. The program brings in young adults from a wide variety of ethnicities

from Myanmar to live and work together while learning the skills to build community services in a collaborative way. Since it was established in 2006, WH has trained hundreds of young adults who are now community workers and leaders.

On 6 December 2025, Wide Horizons held a student gathering with learners living along the Thai–Myanmar border, as well as those joining online from inside Myanmar.

The meeting aimed to strengthen communication, deepen understanding, and build a closer connection between teachers and students.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all students who participated, shared their experiences, and contributed to meaningful discussions.

Your active engagement plays a vital role in improving our program and supporting your learning journey.

Dear to the Wide Horizons Organizational Development Program applicants, we have carefully reviewed all submitted test papers and have selected candidates to proceed to the interview stage. Interview invitations will be sent directly to the selected candidates via email. Therefore, individuals are advised to check their inbox regularly.
