GMAT Reading question ေတြကို အဓိကအားျဖင့္ (၆) မ်ဳိး ခြဲႏိုင္ပါတယ္..

(၁) Main Idea
Passage တစ္ခုလံုးရဲ႕ အဓိက အေၾကာင္းအရာကို ျခံဳၿပီး ေမးတဲ့ ေမးခြန္းမ်ဳိးပါ..
ေမးခြန္းထဲမွာ
▪️The author’s primary purpose - - -
▪️The passage is mainly concerned - - -
▪️The primary purpose of the first paragraph is - - - စသျဖင့္ ေမးတတ္ပါတယ္

(၂) Supporting Ideas/ Details

ေမးခြန္းထဲမွာ
▪️Do you think the author agrees or disagrees - - - ?
▪️The tone of the passage suggests that - - - စသျဖင့္ ေမးတတ္ပါတယ္..

မွတ္ခ်က္ - အထက္မွာ ေဖာ္ျပခဲ့တဲ့ ေမးခြန္းထဲက စကားလံုးေတြဟာ ခြ်င္းခ်က္ေတြေတာ့ ရွိေနႏိုင္ပါတယ္..
ဥပမာ - ေမးခြန္းထဲမွာ "According to the passage" လို႔ပါရင္ Detail type လို႔ တထစ္ခ် ယူဆလို႔ မရႏိုင္ပါဘူး.. inferences type လည္း ျဖစ္ႏိုင္ပါတယ္..
မ်ားေသာအားျဖင့္ question type တစ္ခုခ်င္းစီအလိုက္ အေတြ႕ရမ်ားတဲ့ စကားလံုးေတြကို ျပန္လည္ ထုတ္ႏုတ္ ေဝမွ်ျခင္းသာျဖစ္ပါတယ္..

ဒီတစ္ပတ္မွာေတာ့ GMAT tests ရ႔ဲ Sentence Correction အပိုင္းကို ေျဖဆိုဖို႔ အသံုးဝင္ႏိုင္မယ့္ နည္းလမ္းအခ်ိဳ႕ကို sharing လုပ္ပါရေစ။
ကိုယ္တိုင္ GMAT ရ႔ဲ Sentence Correction ကို ေလ့လာတုန္းက အခက္အခဲေတြ ၾကံဳခ့ဲဖူးပါတယ္။ ေနာက္ေတာ့ တခ်ိဳ႕နည္းလမ္းေတြကို သံုးၾကည့္တာ Vocabularies ေတြ မသိရင္ေတာင္ ေတာ္ေတာ္ေလး အဆင္ေျပသြားပါတယ္။ GMAT tests ကို ေျဖဆိုၾကမယ့္သူေတြအတြက္ အသံုးဝင္ပါေစေနာ္။

SENTENCE CORRECTION ေျဖဆိုေတာ့မယ္ဆိုရင္

Step 1
A-E options ထဲက မတူတ့ဲအခ်က္ေတြကို Underline တားပါ။

Step 2
အေပၚမွာ ေပးထားတ့ဲ Passage ကို တစ္ေခါက္ဖတ္ၿပီး key words ေတြ၊ Subject/ Verbs ေတြ ရွာၾကည့္ပါ။

Step 3
Grammar Rules ကို သံုးၿပီး အေျဖရွာၾကည့္ပါ။ အသံုးမ်ားတ့ဲ Grammar Rules ေတြကို Photo အေနန႔ဲ တင္ေပးလိုက္တယ္ေနာ္။

Practice Questions ေတြန႔ဲ တဲြၾကည့္ရင္ ပိုအဆင္ေျပမွာပါ။

အ့ဲဒီ ၈ မ်ိဳး န႔ဲ ေျဖဆိုမယ့္လူေတြ အဓိက သိသင့္တ့ဲ အခ်က္ေတြကေတာ့

1)weaken the argument/find the flaw in the argument ဆိုရင္ ေဖာ္ျပထားတ့ဲ အဆိုျပဳခ်က္ တစ္ခုမွာ အားနည္းေနတ့ဲ အခ်က္ကို ရွာေပးရမွာပါ။

2) strengthen the argument ဆ္ိုရင္ ေဖာ္ျပထားတ့ဲ အဆိုျပဳခ်က္ တစ္ခုမွာ ေထာက္ခံေပးမယ့္အခ်က္ကို ရွာေပးရမွာပါ။

3) find the assumption ဆိုရင္ ေကာက္ခ်က္ခ်ထားတ့ဲ အဆိုတစ္ခုမွာ လိုအပ္ေနတ့ဲ ယူဆခ်က္တစ္ခု (eg. A ေၾကာင့္ B ျဖစ္ပါတယ္လို႔ ေျပာျပႏိုင္မယ့္ အခ်က္တစ္ခုကို ) ရွာေဖြရပါမယ္။

4) draw inference/conclusion ဆိုရင္ေတာ့ ေပးထားတ့ဲ အေၾကာင္းအရာေတြကို အေျခခံၿပီး ဆံုးျဖတ္ခ်က္တစ္ခု၊ သို႔မဟုတ္ ေကာက္ခ်က္ခ်လို႔ရတ့ဲ အခ်က္တစ္ခုကို ရွာေဖြရပါတယ္။

5) structure of the argument, including boldface structure questions and dialogue structure questions ဆိုရင္ passage ထဲမွာ bold letters န႔ဲ ေဖာ္ျပထားတ့ဲ အေၾကာင္းအရာေတြက ဘယ္ role ကေန ပါဝင္သလဲ ( conclusion အေနန႔ဲလား၊ အဆိုတစ္ခုက္ို ေထာက္ခံေပးတ့ဲ အခ်က္လား အစရွိသည္ျဖင့္ ) ဆံုးျဖတ္ေပးရမွာပါ။

6)paradox questions ဆိုရင္ ဆန္႔က်င္ဘက္ျဖစ္ေနတ့ဲ အေၾကာင္းအရာ ၂ ခုကို ရွင္းျပႏိုင္မယ့္ အခ်က္ကို ရွာရပါမယ္။

7) evaluate the conclusion ဆိုရင္ အဆိုတစ္ခုက ျဖစ္ႏိုင္ေျခ ဘယ္ေလာက္ရွိလဲဆိုတာ တြက္ခ်က္ဖို႔ သိသင့္တ့ဲ အေၾကာင္းအရာေတြကို ရွာေဖြရပါတယ္။

8 ) complete the argument ဆိုရင္ passage ကို ဆက္ႏိုင္မယ့္ အေၾကာင္းအရာကို ရွာေဖြရပါတယ္။
