The KGI Storytelling Competition 2026 Final was held on Friday, 13th February, bringing together our talented finalists under the meaningful themes of:

These themes reflect the very heart of our mission, values and school culture at KGI International School.

Our Kingdomites demonstrated not only confidence and eloquence, but also depth of thought, moral understanding, and emotional intelligence. Each storyteller shared powerful narratives that reminded us that respect begins with understanding others, and responsibility begins with self-discipline.

At KGI, storytelling is more than a performance ~ it is an expression of inquiry, reflection, and global citizenship. Through platforms such as this, we nurture learners who think critically, speak confidently, and act with integrity.

A proud Myanmar Union Day celebration at KGI KG-Campus 🇲🇲

Our KGians enjoyed a variety of activities and looked wonderful in their traditional attire, honouring Myanmar’s rich heritage and strengthening our school culture of inclusion, respect, and community spirit. ✨

Our KGI Preschool proudly celebrated Union Day and Children’s Day with a joyful cultural programme. Our Growthians delighted us with traditional dances in beautiful traditional attire, along with poetry recitation and storytelling.

These meaningful experiences help our children grow in confidence, creativity, respect, and empathy, while developing an appreciation for Myanmar’s rich cultural diversity—reflecting KGI’s values and our nurturing school culture.

KGI Preschool မှာ ပြည်ထောင်စုနေ့ နှင့် ကလေးများနေ့ အထိမ်းအမှတ် ပျော်ရွှင်ဖွယ် ယဉ်ကျေးမှုအစီအစဉ်ကို ဂုဏ်ယူစွာ ကျင်းပခဲ့ပါတယ်။

Growthians လေးများက တိုင်းရင်းသားရိုးရာဝတ်စုံလေးများ လှပစွာဝတ်ဆင်ပြီး ကပြတင်ဆက်ခဲ့သလို ကဗျာရွတ်ဆိုခြင်း၊ ပုံပြင်ပြောခြင်း တွေကိုလဲ ပျော်ရွှင်ဖွယ်ရာ ဆင်နွှဲခဲ့ကြပါသည်။

ဒီလို အတွေ့အကြုံတွေက ကလေးများ၏ မိမိကိုယ်ကိုယ်ယုံကြည်မှု၊ ဖန်တီးနိုင်စွမ်း ကိုတိုးတက်စေပြီး ပြည်ထောင်စုဖွား မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသားများ၏ ယဉ်ကျေးမှုဓလေ့ထုံးစံ အမျိုးမျိုးကို တန်ဖိုးထား ပိုမိုရင်းနှီးကျွမ်းဝင်လာစေပါတယ်။

ဒါက KGI ရဲ့ ပညာ​ရေးတန်ဖိုးများနဲ့ ကျောင်းယဉ်ကျေးမှုကိုလည်း ထင်ဟပ်စေပါတယ်။

အတူတကွ ပံ့ပိုးကူညီပေးခဲ့တဲ့ ဆရာ/ဆရာမများနှင့် မိဘများအားလုံးကို အထူးကျေးဇူးတင်ရှိပါတယ်။ 🇲🇲✨

Our Future Stars Futsal Cup 🏆, involving 14 U-16 teams from private and international schools in Mandalay, began on 17th January 2026 and reached its final match on 27th January 2026, following 26 matches of spirited competition.

A heartfelt thank you to all participating schools, principals, Heads of Sports, PE leaders, coaches, referees, organising staff, and supporters for your valuable collaboration and encouragement throughout the tournament.

Most importantly, we warmly commend each and every player for your excellent contribution, teamwork, and admirable sportsmanship throughout the competition. ⚽️👏🏻
