ခံစားချက်များနဲ့ဆိုင်သော စကားစုများ
1. bottle up – ခံစားချက်တွေကို ရင်ထဲမှာထားပြီး ထုတ်မပြောခြင်း
Eg. It's not good to bottle up your feelings.
ခံစားချက်တွေကို ဖုံးဖိထားရတာက မကောင်းပါဘူး။
2. open up – ခံစားချက်များကို ပွင့်ပွင့်လင်းလင်း မျှဝေခြင်း
Eg. I've tried to get him to open up to me, but with no success.
သူငါ့ကို ဖွင့်ပြောအောင် ကြိုးစားခဲ့ပေမယ့် မအောင်မြင်ခဲ့ဘူး။
3. hold (something) back – တစ်ခုခုကို လုပ်ဖို့ ပြောဖို့ တွန့်ဆုတ်သည်၊ ထိန်းချုပ်လိုက်သည်
Eg. She kept trying to hold back her tears.
သူမရဲ့မျက်ရည်တွေကို ထိန်းချုပ်ဖို့ ကြိုးစားခဲ့တယ်။
4. break down – စိတ်ခံစားမှုများကို မချုပ်ထိန်းနိုင်ဘဲ လွှတ်ချလိုက်သည်၊ ငိုချလိုက်သည်။
Eg. She broke down after she heard the news.
သတင်းကိုကြားကြားချင်း သူမက ကြေကွဲခဲ့ရတယ်။
5. blow up – စိတ်ခံစားချက်ကို ဒေါသထွက်ပြီး လွှတ်ချလိုက်သည်
Eg. My mom blew up when she found out I had failed the exam.
ငါစာမေးပွဲကျတာကို အမေသိသွားတော့ စိတ်တိုသွားတယ်။
6. freak out – လန့်သွားသည်။ အံ့ဩသည်။
Eg. He freaked out when he heard he got the job.
သူအလုပ်ရတယ်လို့ ကြားတော့ သူအံ့ဩသွားတယ်။
7. calm down – စိတ်အေးအေးထားပါ
Eg. I need to calm down after this long stressful day.
ဒီ ဖိအားအရမ်းများတဲ့ ရှည်လျားတဲ့နေ့ရက်ပြီးရင် ငါ စိတ်အေးအေးထားရမယ်။
8. chill out – စိတ်လျှော့ထားပါ၊ စိတ်အေးအေးထားပါ။
Eg. They sometimes meet up to chill out and watch a movie.
တခါတလေ သူတို့က စိတ်အပန်းဖြေဖို့ နဲ့ ရုပ်ရှင်ကြည့်ဖို့ တွေ့ကြတယ်။

Maybe vs May be

"Maybe" နှင့် "may be" တို့သည် အဓိပ္ပါယ်တူကြပါတယ်။ သူတို့နှစ်ယောက်စလုံးဟာ တစ်ခုခုဖြစ်နိုင်ခြေ ဒါမှမဟုတ် အမှန်တရားဖြစ်နိုင်ခြေတွေအကြောင်း ပြောလေ့ရှိကြပါတယ်။
"ဖြစ်ကောင်းဖြစ်နိုင်သည်" သို့မဟုတ် "ဖြစ်နိုင်သည်" လို့အဓိပ္ပာယ်ရပါတယ်။ တစ်ခုခုဖြစ်နိုင်တယ် လို့ အဓိပ္ပာယ်ရပါတယ်။ မှန်ကန်နေတဲ့အကြောင်းအရာတစ်ခုနဲ့ ပတ်သက်ပြီး ဖြစ်နိုင်ချေ သို့မဟုတ် မသေချာမရေရာမှုကို ဖော်ပြတဲ့အခါမှာသုံးပါတယ်။

Maybe သည် Adverb ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ May be ကတော့ modal verb " May " နဲ့ verb " be " တို့ ပေါင်းစပ်ထားသော Verb Phrase လေးဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
" maybe " သည် ယေဘုယျအားဖြင့် ဝါကျတစ်ခု၏အစတွင် လာသော်လည်း "may be" ကတော့ Subject ရဲ့ နောက်မှာ လာပါတယ်။

Advice & Advise ကို သုံးတဲ့အခါ ကျွန်တော်တို့တွေ ရောနေတတ်ကြပါတယ်။ သူတို့နှစ်ခုမှာတူညီတဲ့ အဓိပ္ပာယ်ရှိပါတယ်။ ဒါပေမဲ့ အသုံးပြုပုံ တွေမတူညီကြပါဘူး၊ တစ်ခုက Noun ဖြစ်ပြီး၊ တစ်ခုက verb ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
ခုဆိုရင်တော့ advice နဲ့ advise ကဘာတွေကွာခြားမှုရှိမလဲ ဘယ်စကားလုံးက ဘယ်လိုနေရာမှာ သုံးရမလဲဆိုကို ပြောပြပေးသွားမှာပါ။

Advice
Advice ကတော့ အကြံပြုချက်/noun ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ တစ်ယောက်ယောက်ကို ဘာလုပ်သင့်ဆိုတာ အကြံပြုတဲ့အခါ အကြံပြုချက် လို့ အဓိပ္ပာယ်ရပါတယ်။
ဒါ့အပြင် advice က Uncountable Noun တစ်ခုဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ uncountable Noun ရေတွက်လို့မရတဲ့ နာမ် တွေက အမြဲ Singular form ဖြစ်ကြပြီးတော့ uncountable Noun တွေရဲ့ အရှေ့မှာ "a" "an" ပေါင်းလို့မရပါဘူး။ ဒါဆို အကြံပြုချက်တစ်ခုလို့ပြောချင်တယ်ဆိုရင် ဘယ်လိုပြောမလဲ
"a piece of advice" လို့ပြောရပါမယ်။
အကြံပြုချက်များလို့ပြောတဲ့အခါမှာ ကျောင်းသားတွေ "advices" လို့ မှားရေးတတ်ကြပါတယ်။ Advice က Singlar Noun ဖြစ်တဲ့အတွက်ကြောင့် "Advices" လို့မရှိပါဘူး အဲ့လိုရေးရင်မှားပါတယ်။ အကြံပြုချက်များလို့ ပြောချင်တယ်ဆိုရင် "Some advice" လို့ပြောမှသာ မှန်ကန်တာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
For Example;
1. She asked the teacher for some advice on writing an essay.
သူမက essay ရေးဖို့အတွက် ဆရာမဆီကနေ အကြံဉာဏ်တောင်းခဲ့တယ်။
2. He gave me a piece of advice.
သူကငါ့ကို အကြံတစ်ခုပေးတယ်။

Advise
Advise ကတော့ Verb ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ အကြံပြုသည်၊ အကြံဉာဏ်ပေးသည်လို့ အဓိပ္ပာယ်ရပါတယ်။ Verb ဆိုတော့ သူက Subject ရဲ့အနောက်မှာရှိမှာပေါ့နော်

1. The lawyer advised the client.
ရှေ့နေက အမှုသည်ကို အကြံပေးခဲ့တယ်။
2. We were advised to take the deal.
သဘောတူညီချက်ရယူရန် ကျွန်တော်တို့ကို အကြံပေးခဲ့တယ်။

5. Stunning – ရင်သပ်ရှုမောဖွယ်ဖြစ်သော (Extremely beautiful or impressive )

6. Exquisite – လက်ရာမြောက်သော/ အလွန်လှပသိမ်မွေ့သော (extremely beautiful and delicate)
Eg. Her wedding dress was absolutely exquisite.

"sometimes" "sometime" and "some time" ဆိုတဲ့ စကားလုံးတွေဟာ အဓိပ္ပါယ်နှင့် အသုံးပြုပုံတွေ မတူညီကြပါဘူး။

"sometime" သည် သတ်မှတ်မထားသော အချိန် သို့မဟုတ် အတိအကျ မသိရသေးသော အချိန် ကို ညွှန်ပြသော စကားလုံးဖြစ်ပါတယ်
eg. You should visit me sometime.
မင်းငါ့ဆီကို တစ်ချိန်ချိန်လာလည်သင့်တယ်။

"sometimes" က​တော့ adverb of frequency/ ကြိမ်နှုန်းပြ ကြိယာဝိသေသန တစ်ခုဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ မကြာခဏမဟုတ်၊ အမြဲတမ်းမဟုတ် ဟု အဓိပ္ပါယ်ရပါတယ်။
eg. I sometimes go for a walk in the evening.
တစ်ခါတစ်လေ ညနေဘက် လမ်းလျှောက်ထွက်ပါတယ်။

"some time" ဆိုတာကတော့ အချိန်ကာလ​ တစ်ခုဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
eg. It took me some time to clean the room.
အခန်းကိုသန့်ရှင်းရေးလုပ်ဖို့ အချိန်အနည်းငယ်ကြာခဲ့ပါတယ်။
