**Background History of Social Studies

👉 လူမှုလေ့လာရေးဘာသာရပ်ကို 20 ရာစုအစောပိုင်းတွင် အမေရိကန်ပြည်ထောင်စုတွင် စတင်မိတ်ဆက်ခဲ့သည်။

👉"လူမှုရေးလေ့လာမှု" ဟူသော ဝေါဟာရကို NEA ၏ 1916 အစီရင်ခံစာ တွင် ပထမဆုံးအသုံးပြုခဲ့သည်။ နိုင်ငံသားပညာရေးကို မြှင့်တင်ရန်အတွက် သမိုင်း၊ ပထဝီဝင်၊ ပြည်သူ့နီတိနှင့် အခြားလူမှုရေးသိပ္ပံပညာရပ်များကို သင်ကြားရေးဆိုင်ရာ ပညာရပ်ဆိုင်ရာ ချဉ်းကပ်မှု လိုအပ်ကြောင်း ဤအစီရင်ခံစာတွင် အလေးပေးဖော်ပြထားသည်။

လူမှုရေးဘာသာရပ်ဟာ သမိုင်း၊ ပထဝီနဲ့ နိုင်ငံရေးသိပ္ပံအပါအဝင် လူသားပညာရပ်တွေနဲ့ လူမှုသိပ္ပံဘာသာရပ်တွေကို ပေါင်းစည်းထားတဲ့ ပညာရပ်တခုပါ။ အမေရိကန်ပညာရေးသမားတွေက စပြီးထွင်ခဲ့ကြတာပါ။ အခြေခံအားဖြင့် သမိုင်း၊ ပထဝီ၊ ဘောဂဗေဒ၊ ပြည်သူ့နီတိနဲ့ လူမှုရေးဗေဒတို့ ပါဝင်ကြပါတယ်။ ကိုယ်ကျင့်ပညာ၊ စိတ်ပညာ၊ ဒဿနိကဗေဒ၊ မနုဿဗေဒ၊ အနုပညာနဲ့ စာပေမှ အကြောင်းရင်းတွေလဲ ထည့်သွင်းထားပါတယ်။

Social Studies is the integrated study of multiple fields of social science and humanities, including history, geography, and political science. The term was first coined by Americal educators. It primarily includes the subjects of history, geography, economics,civics, and sociology.The elements of ethics, psychology, philosophy, anthropology, art, and literature are incorporated into subject field.

အဓိကပန်းတိုင်မှာ ကောင်းမွန်သောနိုင်ငံသားများဖြစ်လာရေးကို ရည်ရွယ်တာပါ။

Main goal of social studies is to become good citizens.

လူမှုရေးဘာသာရပ်ရဲ့ အရေးပါပုံတွေက (၁) ပိုကောင်းသောနားလည်နိုင်မှုနှင့် သင်ကြားရေး (၂) နိုင်ငံသားဝတ္တရားများနှင့် တန်ဖိုးများ (၃) ယဥ်ကျေးမှုဆိုင်ရာသိရှိနားလည်ခြင်း (၄) ဘောဝဗေဒပညာရေး (၅) ဖြန့်ထွက်တွေးခြင်း (၆) လက်တွေ့လောကဆိုင်ရာ နားလည်ခြင်း (၇) နိုင်ငံရေးဆိုင်ရာ စွမ်းရည်များ (၈) သမိုင်းကို လေးစားခြင်းတို့ ဖြစ်ကြပါတယ်။

Why social studies is important are: (1) better understanding and learning, (2) citizen responsibilities and values, (3) cultural understanding, (4) economic education, (5) critical thinking, (6) real-world understanding, (7) political skills, (8) respect history.

လူမှုရေးဘာသာရပ်ရဲ့ အရည်အသွေးတွေက (၁) အဓိပ္ပါယ်ပြည့်ဝသော (၂) ပေါင်းစပ်နိုင်သော (၃) တန်ဖိုးအခြေခံသော (၄) စိန်ခေါ်သော (၅) တက်ကြွသော စတာတွေဖြစ်ကြတယ်။

Qualities of social studies are (1) meaningful, (2) integrative, (3) value-based, (4) challenging, (5) active.

လူမှုရေးဘာသာရပ်နဲ့ သက်ဆိုင်တဲ့ စာအုပ်တွေကို စုထားတာ လေးအုပ်ရှိပါပြီ။ သူနဲ့ဆက်စပ်တဲ့ စာအုပ်တွေကိုလဲ ထပ်စုနေပါတယ်။ ဒီဘာသာရပ်က တကယ့် ဘာသာရပ်ပေါင်းစုံလေ့လာမှုတခုဖြစ်တယ်။

I have got four books on social studies. I am collecting its associated books. In fact, social studies is a multi-disciplinary approach.
