Hello.... Everyone
Today let me share how to use second conditional.

အားလုံးပဲ မင်္ဂလာပါ ဒီနေ့မှာတော့ second conditional အသုံးပြုပုံလေးကို မျှဝေပေးသွားမှာပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

မဖြစ်နိုင်တဲ့အရာ၊ အခြေအနေတွေ (လတ်တလောကာလ) ၊ ဖြစ်လာနိုင်ဖွယ်မရှိသေးတဲ့အရာ၊ အခြေအနေတွေ (လတ်တလောကာလ)၊ စိတ်ကူးယဉ်တဲ့အရာ၊အခြေအနေ၊အိမ်မက်တွေကို ပြောချင်တဲ့အခါ second conditionalကို အသုံးပြုပြီး ပြောရပါတယ်။

We use second conditional when we want to talk about impossible, unlikely, imaginary thing and situation. We don't think that will happen.

သုံးနည်းပုံစံလေးကတော့

🎈 If + past simple tense,..... would + infinitive

Second conditionalမှာ အပိုင်း ၂ပိုင်း ပါရှိပါတယ်။
ပထမအပိုင်းက မဖြစ်လာနိုင်တဲ့အရာ၊ စိတ်ကူးယဉ်အခြေအနေတွေကို ဖော်ပြပေးပြီး (if + past simple tense)၊ ဒုတိယအပိုင်းက အဲ့ဒီမဖြစ်လာနိုင်တဲ့အရာ၊ စိတ်ယူးယဉ်အခြအနတွေကနေ ရလာနိုင်မယ့် ဖြစ်နိုင်ခြေရှိတဲ့ ရလဒ်ကို ဖော်ပြပေးတာပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ် (would + infinitive)။

ဥပမာလေးတွေနဲ့ လေ့လာကြည့်ရအောင်

Eg.0

If I became an actress,....( This is the imaginary situation.)
I would be loaded. ( This is the result of the imaginary situation.)

Eg.1

If I won the lottery, I would buy a big house.
( I probably won't win the lottery)

Eg.2

If I met Lee Min Ho, I would say hello.
( Just imagining 😢)

Eg.3

Ma Yu would be very happy if she had a boyfriend.
(She'll get boyfriend when pigs fly 😂)

Eg.4

If I were richer, I would eat fancy food every single day.
( It's impossible for me right now 😦)

💥 Sentence 2ကြောင်းမှာ if sentenceက အရင်လာရင် စာကြောင်း 2ခုကြားမှာ , (comma) ခံပေးရမှာဖြစ်ပြီး၊ would sentenceကအရင်လာရင်တော့ , (comma) ခံစရာမလိုတော့ပါ။ Please, check Eg.3 💥

နောက်ထပ်တစ်ခုကတော့ Eg.4က if I were richerဆိုတဲ့ sentenceမှာ wasအစား wereကိုသုံးထားတာ unreal situationကို ဖော်ပြဖိုရန်အတွက်ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
( If I were you, if he were you, if she were you etc.)
👉 PS. wereနေရာမှာ wasကိုသုံးလည်းမမှားပေမယ့် wereကိုသုံးတာ ပိုပြီး nativeဆန်ပါတယ်။

ဒီနေ့ ရာသီဥတု ပူတယ်။

☀️အတိတ်ကာလရဲ့ ရာသီဥတုအကြောင်း (Yesterday)

Yesterday the weather was cloudy.
မနေ့က တိမ်ထူခဲ့တယ်။

Yesterday the weather was terrible.
မနေ့က ရာသီဥတု အလွန်ဆိုးဝါးခဲ့ပါတယ်။

☀️အနာဂါတ်ကာလရဲ့ ရာသီဥတု (Tomorrow)

I think the weather will be sunny tomorrow.
မနက်ဖြန် နေသာလိမ့်မယ်လို့ ငါထင်တယ်။

I think the weather will be beautiful tomorrow.
မနက်ဖြန် ရာသီဥတု လှပလိမ့်မယ်လို့ ငါထင်တယ်။

☀️အငြင်းအနေနဲ့ ပြောမယ်ဆိုရင် notထည့်ပြီး is not, was not, will not beစသဖြင့် အသုံးပြုရပါတယ်။

Today the weather is not hot.

Yesterday the weather was not cloudy.

I think the weather will not be sunny tomorrow.

How was the weather yesterday?
