UNIVERSITY PROFILE
Technological University (Magway) started as Government Technological College, GTC (Magway). Government Technological College was founded on 27th, December, 1999. University has stepped to become an international level university of higher learning providing a broad range of academic programs. In 20th January 2007, it was promoted as Technological University (Magway) which offered undergraduate degree programs.
Technological University (Magway) is located near the Kanpyar village, alongside the Yangon-Pyay-Mandalay Highway Road, Magway Township; Magway Region with the area of 28.82 acres. Its climate is tropical. The summers have a good deal of rainfall, while the winters have very little, the temperature here averages 27.6 and about 839 mm of precipitation falls per annum. This climate offers excellent learning and working environment.
