🌟 “used to,” “still,” နဲ့ “anymore” ဆိုတဲ့ စကားလုံး ၃ လုံး ဘာကြောင့် အရေးကြီးသလဲ၊ ဘာလို့ ဒီသုံးလုံးနဲ့ စကားပြောရင် native တို့လို ပြောနိုင်တယ်ဆိုတာ
🔹 ၁။ “Used to” – အတိတ်က အမှတ်တရတွေကို ပြောတဲ့စကားအနေနဲ့သုံးတယ်။
➤ ဘာကြောင့် အရေးကြီးလဲ?
မင်းရဲ့ ယခင်အကျင့်စရိုက်တွေကို အတိုချုပ်ပြောနိုင်တယ်။

✅ Native တို့လိုပြောတာရရင်
“I used to live in Yangon.” (ငါရန်ကုန်မှာနေခဲ့ဖူးတယ်ကွ)
“She used to play football.” (သူမ ဘောလုံးကန်ဖူးတယ်)

🔹 ၂။ “Still” – အခုအချိန်အထိ ဆက်လုပ်နေသေးတာကို ပြောတဲ့အခါမှာသုံးတယ်။

native တို့ဟာ “still” ကို သုံးပြီး စကားကို ပိုပြီး ခံစားချက်ပါပါပြည့်စုံအောင် ပြောတတ်ကြတယ်။

🧐 ဘာလို့ “I Prefer Tea to Coffee” လို့ပြောပြီး “Than” မသုံးတာလဲ?
အင်္ဂလိပ်ဘာသာစကားမှာ
➡️ “prefer” ဆိုတဲ့ကြိယာနဲ့တွဲသုံးတဲ့ comparison အတွက် "to" ကိုသုံးတာပါ။ "than" မဟုတ်ပါဘူး။
များသောအားဖြင့် Degree Comparison ဆိုပြီးကျောင်းစာမှာပါတဲ့ Adj-er than နဲ့ more Adj than လို့သိကြတာများပါတယ်။ နိူင်းယှဉ်တာကြီးတူပေမယ့် အသုံးအနှုန်းတွေကတော့ကွာပါတယ်။
✅ မှန်ကန်တဲ့ပုံစံ
I prefer tea to coffee.

She prefers books to movies.

❌ မှားနေတဲ့ပုံစံ
I prefer tea than coffee.

She prefers books than movies.

🤔 ဘာကြောင့် “to” ဆိုတာမှန်တာလဲ?
“Prefer” ဟာ နာမ်နှစ်ခု (သို့) -ing ပါတဲ့ကြိယာများကို နှိုင်းယှဉ်တဲ့အခါမှာ
parallel structure ကိုလိုအပ်တယ်။
ဒီမှာ သုံးသင့်တာက “to” ဖြစ်ပြီး
“than” ဆိုတာကတော့ adjective comparison အတွက်သာ သုံးတာပါ။

📌 ဥပမာများ:
I prefer walking to driving.

They prefer working at home to going to the office.

ဒါက တူညီတဲ့အမျိုးအစား (verb+ing / noun) နှစ်ခုကို နှိုင်းယှဉ်တာပါ။

This outline presents common ways we measure or refer to vegetables and fruits in groups or units.
ဒီဟာလေးတွေက အသီးအနှံတွေရဲ့ တစ်ခုတစ်စုတစ်လုံးတစ်ထုပ်ဆိုပြီး သူ့အသုံးအနူန်းလေးတစ်ချို့ကိုစု‌ည်းပေးထားတာလေးပါ။

1. An Ear of Corn 🌽🌽🌽🌽
Definition: A single cob of corn covered in husks.
ပြောင်းဖူးရဲ့ အဖူးလိုက်တစ်ဖူးကိုပြောတာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
Example: I bought three ears of corn for dinner.

2. A Cluster of Cherries🍒🍒🍒🍒
Definition: A small group of cherries attached together by their stems.
အသီးရဲ့အညာနဲ့အဆွဲလိုက်ဖြစ်နေတဲ့ ချယ်ရီသီးတွဲလေးတွေကိုဆိုလိုတာပါ။
Example: She picked a fresh cluster of cherries from the tree.

Definition: A group of bananas connected at the top.

Definition: A single stalk or stem of a green onion (also called a spring onion).

Example: Chop one green onion stem for the salad.

Definition: The top part of a broccoli, made up of florets.
ပန်းဂေါ်ဖီစိမ်းအပွင့်လိုက်တစ်ခုလုံးကိုဆိုလိုတာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
Example: I only used the crown of broccoli for the soup, not the stalk.

Idiom ဆိုတာ တိုက်ရိုက်ဘာသာပြန်လို့မရတဲ့ စကားစုကိုခေါ်ပါတယ်။ စကားလုံးတစ်လုံးချင်းစီအလိုက်တိုက်ရိုက်ဘာသာပြန်တာမျိုးမဟုတ်ဘဲ စကားလုံးများစုပေါင်းလိုက်ရင်အဓိပ္ပာယ်နောက်တစ်မျိုးပြောင်းသွားတာမျိုးကိုဆိုလိုတာပါ။
ဥပမာ- break the ice - ရေခဲကိုဖျက်စီးလိုက်သည် ×

Slang ဆိုတာက သာမန်အရပ်သုံးစကားပုံစံမျိုးကိုပြောတာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ပုံမှန်အားဖြင့် လူငယ်အုပ်စုများ အသုံးများတဲ့ informal စကားလုံးကိုဆိုလိုတာပါ။ သာမာန်အင်္ဂလိပ်စာထက် ပေါ့ပါးပြီး သီးသန့်အဓိပ္ပာယ်နဲ့အတူ အရပ်သုံးသောစကားလုံးတွေဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
ဥပမာ- Cool - မိုက်လိုက်တာ/သိပ်ကောင်းတယ်

Idiom နဲ့ slang တို့ရဲ့ကွာဟချက်က Idiom ဟာများသောအားဖြင့် စကားလုံးအစုလိုက်‌ရှိတယ် မူလစကားလုံးနဲ့မတူတဲ့အနက်အဓိပ္ပာယ်နဲ့နေတယ် ရိုးရိုးအင်္ဂလိပ်စာအသုံးအနှုန်းတွေမှာသုံးတယ်။
