ᴄᴏʟʟᴏᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴꜱ (တွဲလုံးများ)

English ဘာသာစကားမှာ သတိထားရမဲ့ အချက်တစ်ခုက Collocations တွေပါ။ Collocation ဆိုတာ အမြဲတွဲသုံးလေ့ရှိတဲ့ စကားလုံးတွေပေါ့။

ဥပမာ - အိမ်စာလုပ်သည်ဆိုရင် “Do homework” ပေါ့။ ဒီနေရာမှာ Do ကို မသုံးဘဲ တခြားဟာသုံးလို့မရပါဘူး။ ဥပမာ - Make homework လို့ ရေးလို့မရပါဘူး။ Collocation တွေဟာ လေ့လာမယ်ဆို အများကြီးရှိပါတယ်။

ဒီကနေ့မှာတော့ အပြောကော အရေးမှာပါ အသုံးတည့်မဲ့ ready-made collocations တချို့ကို ဝေမျှလိုက်တယ်

1. A social butterfly (လူမှုဆက်ဆံရေးအားကောင်းပြီး လူအများနဲ့ တည်အောင်ပေါင်းသင်ဆက်ဆံနိုင်သူ)

နိုင်ငံခြား ကောလိပ်/တက္ကသိုလ်များမှာ ပညာဆက်လက်သင်ယူဖို့ဆိုရင် ကိုယ့်ရဲ့ English စာ အရည်အချင်းကို ဖော်ပြပေးနိုင်မယ့် နိုင်ငံတကာ အသိအမှတ်ပြု အင်္ဂလိပ်စာအရည်အချင်းစစ် စာမေးပွဲများကို ဖြေဆိုထားပြီး သက်ဆိုင်ရာကျောင်းရဲ့ တောင်းဆိုတဲ့အမှတ် ရရှိထားဖို့လိုအပ်ပါတယ်။

- Duolingo ကတော့ Exam fee ပိုမိုသက်သာမှု၊ Result (ရမှတ်) ထွက်တာပိုမို မြန်ဆန်မှု၊ ကုန်ကျစားရိတ်ပိုမိုသက်သာမှု၊ မိမိအဆင်ပြေရာနေရာကနေပြီး Online ကနေ ဖြေဆိုနိုင်မှု… အစရှိတဲ့ အချက်တွေကြောင့် ရွေးချယ်ဖြေဆိုကြပါတယ်။

IELTS – Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing Skills (4) ခုကို Skill အလိုက်ခွဲပြီး အကြမ်းဖျဉ်း (၂)ရက်ဖြေဆိုရပါတယ်။ Test center မှာ သွားရောက်ဖြေဆိုရပါတယ်။ (အဓိကအားဖြင့် Computer-based နဲ့ Paper-based ဆိုပြီး (၂)မျိုး ဖြေဆိုကြပါတယ်။)
- Paper-based Test ဆို အမှတ်ကို ၁၃ရက်ကြာမှာ ရရှိပါမယ်။
- Computer-based Test ဆို အမှတ်ကို (၃)ရက်ကနေ (၅) ရက်အတွင်း ရရှိပါမယ်။

Idiom Day

Idiom ဆိုတာ တိုက်ရိုက်ဘာသာပြန်လို့မရဘဲ သူကနေပေးချင်တဲ့ နောက်ကွယ်က အဓိပ္ပာယ်ကို မြင်အောင်ကြည့်ရတာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

Idiom အမျိုးမျိုးရှိတဲ့ အနက်မှ ဒီနေ့မှာ
Body parts တွေနဲ့ ပတ်သက်တဲ့ နေ့စဉ်အသုံးတည့်မဲ့ idiomatic expressions တချို့ကို လေ့လာကြည့်ရအောင်။

1. Pull someone's leg
"*လူတစ်ယောက်ရဲ့ ခြေထောက်ကို ဆွဲသည်" မဟုတ်ဘူးနော်
