Malian Association of Teachers of English (MATE) was honored to be represented by its Chairperson, Mahamadou Karamoko Kahiraba KOÏTA at the Mali English Clubs' Council (MECC) General Assembly for the 2026–2027 mandate.

This important gathering brought together English clubs, leaders, partners, and committed members sharing the same ambition: strengthening the English-speaking community and promoting youth leadership in Mali.

The ceremony reflected a spirit of unity, collaboration, and commitment toward impactful initiatives for the new mandate. It was also an opportunity to exchange ideas, reinforce partnerships, and celebrate the engagement of young leaders working for the growth of English clubs nationwide.

MATE congratulates MECC on the successful organization of this meaningful event and wishes the council a productive and successful mandate ahead.

On Sunday, April 19th, following the invitation of the President of Malian Association of Teachers of English (MATE),our members had the honor of attending the closing ceremony of the three-day workshop on the Competency-Based Approach (CBA).

During this ceremony, a certificate was officially awarded to the Mali English Clubs Council, further strengthening the ties and reinforcing the collaborative relationship between MATE and MECC.
