Creative Showcase, An Evening of Stories, Art, and Creativity ✨🎨

On June 11, 2026, at 18:00, Shilla Coffee & Bar in Ohrid will become a space where creativity takes the lead. As the academic year comes to a close, students and professors from the University “St. Paul the Apostle” will come together to share their original stories, poetry, artwork, drawings, and creative projects.

Today, on May 24th, we honor the legacy of the Holy Brothers, Saints Cyril and Methodius — the creators of the Glagolitic alphabet and pioneers of Slavic literacy, culture, and education. 📖

Their visionary work gave generations the power of language, knowledge, and cultural identity, leaving a legacy that continues to inspire education and learning today. At UIST, we proudly pay tribute to their enduring contribution to literacy, scholarship, and the preservation of cultural heritage.

Yesterday at the University “St. Paul the Apostle” in Ohrid, we marked the International Day of Women in Mathematics with a screening of the documentary film Secrets of the Surface: The Mathematical Vision of Maryam Mirzakhani.

Through the story of Maryam Mirzakhani, participants had the opportunity to reflect on the beauty of mathematics, scientific curiosity, and the importance of women’s contributions to science and education. Her groundbreaking achievements in mathematics continue to inspire generations of students, researchers, and young women around the world.

We thank everyone who joined us for this inspiring evening dedicated to mathematics, knowledge, and inspiration.

Students from the Wireless Networks course at the University of Information Science and Technology “St. Paul the Apostle” recently visited IoT Smart Agriculture sites, where they had the opportunity to explore real-world applications of wireless communication technologies in modern agriculture. 🌱📡

Through this field visit, students gained practical insight into how IoT systems, sensors, and wireless networks are transforming agricultural production, monitoring, and sustainability connecting classroom knowledge with innovative technological solutions in practice.
