International Balkan University is proud to share the recent interview of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Liza Sulejmani, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, published by THEY SAID SO – Association Suisse pour l’Éducation et la Pensée Critique (Swiss Association for Education and Critical Thinking).

In the interview with Julián Ginzo, titled “The Politics of Education,” Prof. Dr. Sulejmani addresses some of the most important challenges facing higher education today, including academic quality, leadership, institutional credibility, diversity, brain drain, artificial intelligence, and the broader responsibility of universities toward society.

Her participation in this international conversation reflects IBU’s commitment to academic excellence, critical thinking, responsible leadership, and the advancement of meaningful dialogue on the future of higher education.

Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Liza Alili Sulejmani Appointed to the Supervisory Board of the Association of Economics Teachers of North Macedonia

The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at International Balkan University is proud to announce that Prof. Dr. Liza Alili Sulejmani, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, has been appointed as a member of the Supervisory Board of the newly established Association of Economics Teachers of North Macedonia.

The establishment of the Association marks an important milestone for economics education in North Macedonia. As the country’s first national professional platform dedicated exclusively to economics teachers, the Association creates a strong foundation for long-term cooperation, professional excellence, and innovation in economics education. It will serve as a national platform for economics educators, fostering collaboration, promoting excellence in teaching, and supporting initiatives that strengthen economic literacy among young people.
