Ambasadori i Shqipërisë, Denion Meidani, ligjëron në UEJL për diplomacinë shqiptare dhe integrimin evropian
Universiteti i Evropës Juglindore (UEJL), ishte sot nikoqir i një ligjërate tematike të mbajtur nga Ambasadori i Republikës së Shqipërisë në Republikën e Maqedonisë së Veriut, z. Denion Meidani, kushtuar rolit të diplomacisë shqiptare në Ballkanin Perëndimor, integrimit evropian, sigurisë rajonale dhe bashkëpunimit ndëruniversitar.
Duke folur para studentëve dhe stafit akademik, Ambasadori Meidani theksoi rëndësinë e diplomacisë si një instrument kyç në përforcimin e stabilitetit rajonal dhe avancimin e proceseve integruese drejt Bashkimit Evropian. Ai u ndal veçanërisht në zhvillimet aktuale politike dhe diplomatike në rajon, sfidat e sigurisë, si dhe rolin e arsimit të lartë në ndërtimin e partneriteteve të qëndrueshme ndërmjet vendeve të Ballkanit Perëndimor.
Para ligjëratës, Ambasadori Meidani zhvilloi një takim me Rektorin e UEJL-së, Prof. Dr. Sadudin Ibraimi, ku u diskutua për forcimin e bashkëpunimit akademik rajonal dhe ndërkombëtar, si dhe për mbështetjen diplomatike ndaj iniciativave arsimore dhe shkencore. Në takim ishin të pranishëm Prorektori për Planifikim, Hulumtim dhe Ndërmarësi, Prof. Dr. Veland Ramadani, Këshilltarja për Planifikim Akademik dhe Digjitalizim, Prof. Dr. Florije Ismaili dhe këshilltarja për Marrëdhënie me Komunitetin dhe Marrëdhënie Ndërkombëtare, Prof. Dr. Besa Arfi.
Ligjërata u hap me një fjalim mirëseardhjeje nga Prof. Dr. Besa Arfi, e cila vuri në pah rëndësinë e bashkëpunimit ndërinstitucional dhe rolin e diplomacisë në ndërtimin e urave të komunikimit mes universiteteve dhe institucioneve shtetërore.
Në fjalën e tij, Ambasadori Meidani ndau me studentët perspektivat e diplomacisë shqiptare në rajon, duke theksuar proceset integruese evropiane, sigurinë rajonale dhe domosdoshmërinë e fuqizimit të bashkëpunimit akademik ndëruniversitar.
Ngjarja u përmbyll me një sesion interaktiv dhe konstruktiv bashkëbisedimi me studentët, gjatë të cilit u ngritën çështje me interes të veçantë mbi rolin e rinisë, arsimit të lartë dhe diplomacisë në forcimin e marrëdhënieve rajonale dhe evropiane.
Ligjërata u organizua nga Fakulteti i Shkencave Shoqërore Bashkëkohore i UEJL-së, në kuadër të angazhimit të universitetit për të sjellë diplomatë dhe personalitete të rëndësishme të jetës publike në dialog të drejtpërdrejtë me studentët.

Албанскиот амбасадор Денион Меидани одржа предавање на УЈИЕ за албанската дипломатија и европската интеграција
Универзитетот на Југоисточна Европа (УЈИЕ) денес беше домаќин на тематско предавање што го одржа амбасадорот на Република Албанија во Република Северна Македонија, Н.Е. г. Денион Мејдани, посветено на улогата на албанската дипломатија на Западен Балкан, европската интеграција, регионалната безбедност и меѓу-универзитетската соработка.
Обраќајќи им се на студентите и академскиот кадар, амбасадорот Меидани ја истакна важноста на дипломатијата како клучен инструмент за зајакнување на регионалната стабилност и унапредување на процесот на интеграција во Европската унија. Тој посебно се осврна на актуелните политички и дипломатски случувања во регионот, постојните безбедносни предизвици и улогата на високото образование во градењето одржливи партнерства меѓу земјите од Западен Балкан.
Пред предавањето, амбасадорот Меидани оствари средба со ректорот на УЈИЕ, проф. д-р Садудин Ибраими, на која беше разговарано за зајакнување на регионалната и меѓународната академска соработка, како и за дипломатската поддршка на образовните и научните иницијативи. На состанокот присуствуваа проректорот за планирање, истражување и претприемништво, проф. д-р Веланд Рамадани, советничката за академско планирање и дигитализација, проф. д-р Флорије Исмаили, како и советничката за односи со заедницата и меѓународни односи, проф. д-р Беса Арфи
Предавањето беше отворено со поздравно обраќање од проф. д-р Беса Арифи, која ја нагласи важноста на меѓу-институционалната соработка и улогата на дипломатијата во воспоставувањето ефективни канали за комуникација меѓу универзитетите и државните институции.
Во своето излагање, амбасадорот Меидани ги сподели согледувањата за дипломатските перспективи на Албанија во регионот, со посебен акцент на процесите на европска интеграција, регионалната безбедност и потребата од зајакнување на меѓу-универзитетската академска соработка.
Настанот заврши со интерактивна и конструктивна дискусија со студентите, при што беа отворени теми од особен интерес поврзани со улогата на младите, високото образование и дипломатијата во зајакнувањето на регионалните и европските односи.
Предавањето беше организирано од Факултетот за современи општествени науки при УЈИЕ, како дел од континуираната заложба на Универзитетот за поттикнување директен дијалог меѓу студентите, дипломатите и другите истакнати јавни личности.

Albanian Ambassador Denion Meidani Delivers Lecture at SEEU on Albanian Diplomacy and European Integration
South East European University (SEEU) today hosted a thematic lecture delivered by the Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to the Republic of North Macedonia, H.E. Mr. Denion Meidani, focusing on the role of Albanian diplomacy in the Western Balkans, European integration, regional security, and inter-university cooperation.
Addressing students and academic staff, Ambassador Meidani emphasized the importance of diplomacy as a key instrument for strengthening regional stability and advancing the European Union integration process. He particularly highlighted current political and diplomatic developments in the region, existing security challenges, and the role of higher education in building sustainable partnerships among Western Balkan countries.
Prior to the lecture, Ambassador Meidani met with the Rector of SEEU, Prof. Dr. Sadudin Ibraimi, where they discussed strengthening regional and international academic cooperation, as well as diplomatic support for educational and scientific initiatives. The meeting was attended by the Vice-Rector for Planning, Research and Entrepreneurship, Prof. Dr. Veland Ramadani, the Advisor for Academic Planning and Digitalization, Prof. Dr. Florije Ismaili, and the Advisor for Community Relations and International Relations, Prof. Dr. Besa Arfi
The lecture opened with a welcome address by Prof. Dr. Besa Arifi, who underlined the importance of inter-institutional cooperation and the role of diplomacy in building effective channels of communication between universities and state institutions.
In his presentation, Ambassador Meidani shared insights into Albania’s diplomatic perspectives in the region, with particular emphasis on European integration processes, regional security, and the need to strengthen inter-university academic cooperation.
The event concluded with an interactive and constructive discussion session with students, during which topics of particular interest were raised regarding the role of youth, higher education, and diplomacy in strengthening regional and European relations.
The lecture was organized by the Faculty of Contemporary Social Sciences at SEEU, as part of the University’s ongoing commitment to facilitating direct dialogue between students and diplomats, as well as other prominent public figures.
