This week, our Middle School and Secondary students took the stage for our Winter Show, a wonderful celebration of community, creativity, and aesthetic appreciation.

Our Winter Show is more than a performance. It is an opportunity for students to develop confidence, collaborate, and engage deeply with the arts as creators and audience members. These experiences nurture imagination, self-expression, and a lifelong appreciation for creativity, while strengthening the sense of belonging that defines our community.

✨ Celebrating Innovation at QSI Skopje’s Annual STEAM Fair! ✨

Recently, our students proudly showcased their prototypes after weeks of engaging in the full design thinking process. They identified a real problem, empathized with others, brainstormed solutions, tested ideas, and refined their designs. Their creativity, courage, and curiosity were on full display!

This experience strengthened essential 21st Century Skills, including:

🔹 Critical Thinking as they analyzed problems and designed meaningful solutions
🔹 Creativity as they built and revised innovative prototypes
🔹 Collaboration as they worked in teams, listened to diverse perspectives, and supported each other
🔹 Communication as they presented their ideas with clarity and confidence to peers, teachers, and our community

Our STEAM Fair is a beautiful reflection of who we are at QSI Skopje:
A caring, forward-thinking learning community where every student is empowered to take ownership, stretch their thinking, and make a positive impact. Their prototypes are impressive, and even more remarkable is the mindset they are developing along the way.

QSI Skopje's Annual Fall Festival was a Huge Success!

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday for our annual Fall Festival, hosted by our amazing Parent Support Group (PSG)! This beloved event has become a Skopje tradition — the only QSI Skopje event open to the public — and it just keeps getting bigger every year.

Families from across the city came together to enjoy delicious food, exciting games, and our legendary haunted house, organized by our talented secondary students. 👻🎃

We are thrilled to share that this year was a record-breaking success, and it wouldn’t have been possible without our wonderful volunteers, staff, students, and community partners.

We are excited to welcome our QSI Skopje families back and to meet all of the new families joining us this year. Over the past five days, our teachers have been learning, collaborating, and preparing for the return of our students.

We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow, August 21st, for the first day of school.

🌹🎭 A Night of Magic, Music, and Masterpieces at QSI Skopje 🎨✨

This year’s Spring Show, Beauty and the Beast Jr., was nothing short of enchanting. Our students brought the story to life with heart, talent, and teamwork that left the audience in awe. The performances were powerful, the music uplifting, and the sets and costumes were stunning. Alongside the show, the lobby turned into a vibrant gallery showcasing our students’ visual art, capturing their imagination and voice through every brushstroke and sketch.

These events are more than performances or exhibitions. They are celebrations of who we are at QSI Skopje. We believe in the power of the arts to inspire confidence, collaboration, and creativity. Whether on stage, behind the scenes, or displaying artwork, every student had the chance to shine and grow through this experience.

Producing something of this scale takes a village. We are so proud of the time, energy, and love our teachers, students, and families poured into making it a success. Opportunities like these help our students build lifelong skills in communication, problem-solving, and leadership, which are key values we uphold in our mission to develop the whole child.

At QSI International School of Skopje, we believe some of the most impactful learning happens outside the classroom. Our recent Week Without Walls, themed "Give, Grow, and Go Beyond," gave students in every age group the opportunity to experience real-world learning through service, adventure, and hands-on exploration.

Local trips focused on engaging themes like Get Active, Eco Fashion, Cooking, and Be a Journalist, helping students build practical skills, deepen friendships, and develop a stronger sense of social and environmental responsibility. Older students embarked on a five-day journey through Budapest, where they explored the city’s rich history and vibrant art scene while participating in creative, service-driven projects inspired by the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

Each trip was thoughtfully designed to foster communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking, all of which are core 21st-century skills that prepare students to thrive in a global world.

This is just one of the ways QSI Skopje helps students grow into confident, compassionate, and capable global citizens!
