A remarkable achievement for our talented student, Vladimir Grchev!

Vladimir had the honor of representing N. Macedonia at the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, one of the world’s most prestigious programming competitions.

In his first evee paeticipation at IOI, Vladimir achieved an outstanding Bronze Medal. 🥉

📚 Transforming Learning through Meaningful Student Engagement

Day 1 focused on student engagement, learning sciences and project-based learning through keynote sessions, student voices, a flash talk and interactive workshops.

Participants explored two central questions: Who is doing the thinking? and How does project-based learning engage students? The sessions encouraged collaboration and new approaches to creating active, student-centred learning environments.

Day 1 brought the programme to life through inspiring conversations, student perspectives and hands-on collaboration.

A meaningful start to two days of professional exchange, shared experiences and new educational perspectives.

Earlier this year in April, Teona Ana Georgievska also won a Bronze Medal at the 60th International Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad, becoming the first female student from North Macedonia to earn a medal at this prestigious competition! 👩‍🔬✨
