Macedonia Open

Macedonia Open Macedonia Open is one of the most important activities of Youth Educational Forum and is one of the biggest Karl Popper debate events in the Balkans.

Each year Macedonia Open attracts debaters from the region and across the world. So far the tournament hosted participants from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Germany, Kosovo, Montenegro, Romania, Slovenia, the United Kingdom and the United States of America. In the past Macedonia Open gained both media attention, and support from governmental institutions and hosted the final

debate at the National Parliament building and broadcasted live on the National television. Over the years Macedonia Open maintains to show a constant increase in the number of teams and participants. Since the beginning, the idea was to gather the best debaters in the region in one place and through the years, YEF has successfully remained true to this idea.
