The Türkiye Maarif Foundation hosted a distinguished iftar programme in Skopje, bringing together high-level representatives including the Deputy Prime Minister, ministers, ambassadors, political leaders, rectors, mayors, and civil society organizations.

Mr. Osman expressed heartfelt gratitude for the honorable presence of esteemed guests, noting that it will always be a pleasure to welcome them in Maarif schools today and in the days to come.

✨The magical hands of our 2nd graders surprised us again with another amazing creation, a handmade paper house full of learning, love, and big dreams! ✨

This is not just a handmade house — it is our classroom home.
Every room tells a story of teamwork, creativity, and imagination. Little hands worked together, sharing ideas, helping one another, and turning simple materials into something meaningful.

Inside this house, we learn how to be kind, use gentle words, respect each other, and express our thoughts. Each child added a piece of themselves — a color, a smile, a dream.

Our school amphitheatre was buzzing with excitement as we proudly held our Spelling Bee Competition! 🐝📚
Students from Grades 5 to 9 gathered to cheer on the brave participants who confidently took the stage to showcase their spelling skills, focus, and determination. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm, applause, and healthy competition.
We were especially honored to welcome and host participants from the elementary school Dimitar Makedonski, who not only joined us as guests but also actively competed in the event. Their participation made the competition even more exciting and meaningful.
✨ Fun fact: The word “bee” in Spelling Bee comes from an old English term meaning “a gathering” or “a friendly competition,” just like quilting bees — which perfectly describes the spirit of our event!

The Spirit of Ramadan at Maarif 🌙

At Maarif Schools, our goal is not only to help students achieve academic success, but also to teach them strong moral values.

In a truly international atmosphere, students from diverse nationalities welcomed the month of Ramadan with great enthusiasm and sincere emotions. Dates, sweets, and various treats were shared, beautiful calligraphy artworks using henna with their skilful hands, turning the moment into a meaningful and artistic expression.
We continue to live and celebrate the essence of Ramadan through unity, sharing, and values.

*University of New York Tirana Visit to Maarif International Schools Skopje Campus*

We were pleased to host representatives of the University of New York Tirana at Maarif International Schools Skopje Campus.

During their visit, the university team delivered an informative presentation for our 4th-year students and conducted a scholarship examination, offering valuable academic opportunities for their future studies.

We extend our sincere thanks to the University of New York Tirana for their courtesy visit and for engaging with our students.

Yesterday we turned a school day into pure magic on the snow! The whole Maarif International Schools of Skopje ventured to Popova Shapka to enjoy the winter wonderland.

The big mountain, the warm sun, the snowy-glowing light worked its magic on the soul, pulling students to run through the hills. Even when tired, they climb back up for more fun!

From red cheeks and huge smiles to big sled races, the energy was unforgettable! We hope our students will treasure this moments spent together in our school ❄️☃️

With the valuable support of our Foundation Headquarters, a training session titled *“How to Assess Students Efficiently Using AI Assessment Tools for Better Learning”* was delivered to our teachers.

Throughout the program, our educators gained important insights into the effective use of AI-powered assessment tools in education.
