Join us for an unforgettable week where you will expand your knowledge of the English language, your confidence in speaking and writing, you will meet new friends, reconnect with old ones, and enjoy the open and welcoming atmosphere at the American Corner Skopje.

There will be games, quizzes, debates, and discussions, you will give group presentations and even learn and practice grammar in a fun way! All participants are encouraged to share their own knowledge and experience in the classroom.

Technology and fashion come together in a 3D printing workshop at American Corner Skopje!👗✨🖨️

Learn the basics of 3D printing during this hands-on workshop and find out how this modern technology is changing the fashion industry. 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗘: This event is for students 14 - 30.

In May, American Corner Skopje finished the spring semester of the English for Adults club with the Pensioners from the Municipality of Center, SIEC, PCV Jacqueline Dejean, and IBU volunteers Kaltrina Shaqiri, Medina Sinani, Alejna Shazivavi, and Sara Ismaili.
The semester ended with a graduation ceremony, complete with music, certificates and food.
We will be back this fall after a well deserved summer break.

On May 20th, American Corner Skopje participated in SUGS Nikola Karev’s Open Day. This in an annual event where the high school opens its doors to incoming and interested students and parents, as well as alumni. During the event, different sections, clubs and teachers present their school and afterschool activities and participants learn more about the opportunities at the school.

Students performed songs from the Music Man Jr musical, while the Corner promoted its activities, resources and opportunities to the incoming students and visitors.

On May 19th, American Corner Skopje took part in the Career Fair at the Faculty of Economics – Skopje. ACS staff had a booth throughout the fair and shared resources, educational and volunteering opportunities with the students.
Students visited the booth to receive information and promotional materials and many became members and visited the Corner after the event. ACS staff also spoke with other company representatives at the Fair and shared the presence and resources with other companies and NGOs.

This week the American Corners of North Macedonia celebrated America's 250th anniversary, with two performances of the iconic six-time-Tony-Award-winning Meredith Willson's Broadway musical, The Music Man Jr.!

Acting Deputy Chief of Mission, David Myers, Public Affairs Officer Dolores Prin, and Public Diplomacy Officer Charles M Santiago Morales opened the performances which were performed by students from Skopje high schools “Nikola Karev”, “Georgi Dimitrov”, “Rade Jovchevski Korchagin” and “Orce Nikolov”.

The musical was directed and prepared for the stage by professors Jasmina Belichanska, Marina Ivanova and Mile Naumovski with assistance in directing and choreography from students Kalina Stipcarova and Aleksandra Miteska, and it was performed in the Drama Theatre in Skopje.

The final performance will take place on June 5th, at 19:00, at the Centre for Culture in Bitola.

On May 6th American Corner Skopje did an outreach at the International Private School SABA Skopje, bringing together over 30 students for an engaging and interactive session.

The activity aimed to introduce students to the opportunities, programs, and educational resources offered by American Corner Skopje while also encouraging active participation, open discussion, and the exchange of ideas among attendees.
