Rosana Alceva, an Android Software Engineer at Netcetera shares her insights for early career journey as a women developer. 💪

"Transitioning from a student into employee isn’t easy for anyone.

Your first job isn't going to determine the rest of your career, but do choose something that makes you want to get in early to work and leave late.

Working in IT is like a never-ending college class. You are constantly learning new stuff and finding creative ways to solve problems. There are days when you feel stuck in place. Then it is very important for you to love what you are doing. Your biggest support is going to be you.

Don’t be afraid to ask for help, if you can’t solve a problem on your own. A lot of people will be happy to share their experience.

Constantly work on your soft and technical skills and if you feel like you have outgrown the job you are doing, listen to your gut. Go out there and make the change!"
