🚀 The MaStER_G consortium has officially launched an Erasmus Mundus Design Measures (EMDM) project, aimed at designing a new joint MaStER_G Master’s programme under the Erasmus Mundus framework.
Although the project officially started on 1 October 2025, we deliberately waited with our first public announcement until achieving initial results. To date, we have successfully organised three consortium meetings and are currently working on a key project milestone — the preparation of the application for the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master 2026 call.
The project brings together an international consortium of academic partners from:
🇭🇷 Croatia – Faculty of Geotechnical Engineering, University of Zagreb
🇲🇰 North Macedonia – Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology (IZIIS) & Faculty of Civil Engineering, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje
🇷🇸 Serbia – Faculty of Mining and Geology, University of Belgrade
🇮🇷 Iran – Iran University of Science and Technology
🇧🇷 Brazil – Federal University of Bahia
Together, we are working on the academic design, governance framework, and mobility structure of a future Erasmus Mundus Joint Master programme.
In the coming months, this collaboration will focus on developing an innovative, high-quality master study programme that addresses global challenges in environmental geotechnics, resilience, and geohazards, while preparing graduates for international careers.
