We are incredibly proud to announce that Amelija Stančeva (11B) will represent Macedonia at the International Biology Olympiad (IBO) 2026, taking place this July in Lithuania. 🇱🇹

This outstanding achievement comes after an exceptional year of success in biology, during which Amelija ranked 2nd in the country and under the mentorship of our teacher Kristiana Shijakova, demonstrated remarkable dedication, knowledge, and passion for science.

Being selected to represent Macedonia and AHSS on the international stage is a testament to her hard work and excellence, and we could not be prouder of all she has accomplished.

During the trip, they explored the magnificent Schönbrunn Palace, enjoyed a scenic cruise along the Vltava River, and discovered some of Central Europe's most iconic landmarks and cityscapes.

Yesterday evening, the American High School Skopje celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2026, and for a few hours, time seemed to stand still.

There were heartfelt speeches that brought both smiles and tears, proud families watching from the audience, and graduates walking across the stage looking beautiful, confident, and ready for the world ahead. The school choir filled the room with music that made the entire evening feel even more emotional and unforgettable. 🎶🎓

Behind every diploma is a story. Years of friendships, challenges, growth, laughter in the hallways, late nights, unforgettable trips, classroom memories, and moments that quietly shaped who these young people have become.
