It is my great honor to invite you to a workshop facilitated by Simona Jendroska, focused on Personal Finance. This event is open to the public, with alumni given priority for registration.
Details of the workshop are as follows:
Mastering Personal Finance: A One-Day Workshop

Date: September 27, 2024
• Venue: Mladi Hub
• Time: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

This workshop will introduce fresh graduates, high school, and university students to the essentials of personal finance, equipping them with practical skills for managing money, planning for the future, and making informed financial decisions. Participants will learn to budget, save, invest, and avoid common financial pitfalls through interactive sessions and real-life examples.

By the end of the workshop, you will be able to:
1.Develop a personal budget and track expenses.
2.Understand the importance of saving and explore different savings options.
3.Gain basic knowledge of investment principles and types.
4.Recognize the impact of credit and strategies for managing it.
5.Plan for major life expenses like education, housing, and emergencies.

Alumni on Air: Our newest Alumna Vesa Haliti had a great interview earlier today at National TV Alsat M. She reflected on her YES experience in Independence, Missouri and encouraged young highschoolers to apply for the YES Program. Please be reminded that the deadline for applying is October 24th!

Thrilled to share that we successfully organized a Panel for the YES Alumni Re-Entry Seminar for the freshly returned 2024 generation of Alumni.

Our incredible lineup of guests included Peace Corps North Macedonia Country Director David Reside, Peace Corps Community Development Program Manager Mirlinda Alemdar, MAAA (Macedonian American Alumni Association) President Dr. Zorica Trajkova Strezovska, MAAA Executive Board Member Rozita Petrinska Labudovikj, MAAA Project Assistant and Mindleps’s Dance Coordinator Nenad Stojchevski, Fulbright ETA Lauren Williamson, and American Corner’s Activities Specialist Nikolija Zlatevska.

They shared invaluable insights on opportunities and community improvement, inspiring our alumni to make a positive impact. Thank you to everyone who made this event possible and to our fantastic speakers for their time and expertise.

One day training on Communication and Professional Development done by our YES senior alumna Simona Jendroska in collaboration with Mladi Hub and FSS Ekonomski. We learned new skills and methods in effective communication, networking, presentation, CV/resume crafting, and understanding professional etiquette and interview techniques.
