▪️ The filigree technique has been part of our material and immaterial cultural heritage, and we would like to share with you our knowledge and passion for it

Lake Ohrid and Lake Prespa, two of Europe’s oldest lakes, lie in a mountainous area along the borders of North Macedonia, Albania, and Greece. The lakes have persisted for at least 1 million years and possibly longer. The Operational Land Imager-2 (OLI-2) on Landsat 9 captured this natural-color image of the lakes on August 19, 2022. Ohrid is the larger and deeper of the two, with a mean depth of 155 meters (509 feet). Prespa has a mean depth of 14 meters (45 feet). https://go.nasa.gov/3doKGwH
