UIST Culture Day

UIST Culture Day Cultural Diversity bring people around the world together in the heart of Ohrid - Macedonia They have been organized by students from different backgrounds.

The Culture Day is a major event of University of Saint Paul the Apostle that is based in Ohrid. It is a non- profitable event which is held annually at the 21st of May. It is a day of culture diversity where many participants from more than 21 countries join and share information about their cultures and countries. This includes performances like speeches, dances, plays and songs in addition to b

ooths for the countries to answer questions and share part of their traditional costumes and food. This event helps in locating Macedonia on the map of cultural diversity. It will help increasing the ethics of diversity acceptance, globalization and peace. On the other hand it will help non-Macedonian citizens express themselves and allow an atmosphere of mutual respect between them and the Macedonians. Four major events has been held at the quarter of the university and the last one was held in the city square. The organizers this year are taking a big step bringing the event in the middle of the city center for the second time. Many countries embassies are invited and students of different backgrounds are willing to share more about their cultures.
