Hello December๐
My favorite month because of the christmas spirit
Yes! Many Malagasy people also celebrate it.
In the capital, in Tanร , the roads become crowded. Sellers are everywhere to sell outfit, gift, toys.
On the social networks, since last week, the black friday has started.
The goal: sold out
At home, people has started decorating the trees. Women and mums would like to change the home decoration. People are excited
Those who are away from their families and relatives have booked their seats to join their families.
We started to think about our new year resolution. Listed the good and bad done this year
This excitement is the real Malagasy vibe! โจ This time of year offers a unique, lively, and warm look into our culture. Itโs the best time to visit if you want to experience the true heart of Madagascar!

Today, let's meet one of Madagascar's most famous residents: the Ring-Tailed Lemur! This charismatic animal is essential to understanding our island's identity.
๐ The best word to describe this lemur is ENDEMIC .
Endemic means you can only find it here and nowhere else in the world!
When you visit places like Anja Reserve or Isalo National Park, you are witnessing an endemic species thriving in its one and only home. It's a truly special experience!
Learning about Madagascar means learning about its unique vocabulary! What other endemic species would you like to learn about next?

It is going to rain....for sure...todayโ๏ธ๐ฆ๏ธ
The Green Season is Coming! ๐ง๏ธ
The heat of the day reminds us that Madagascar is entering its spectacular "Green Season"! Today is very hot and it may rain, a sign that the land is eagerly awaiting its cleansing showers.
The transformation has begun, and the island is already bursting with color!
For the adventurous traveler, this transitional time offers unique rewards:
๐ฟLush Landscapes: The first rains coax the flora back to life, making the rainforests and eastern coasts incredibly vibrant and fragrant. If you love botany, this is the time to see orchids and other unique flowers bloom!
๐ฆWildlife Activity: The warm, humid conditions encourage many animals to be more active. It's an ideal season for spotting chameleons, frogs, and many lemur species who enjoy the abundance of new growth.
๐ธBreathtaking Light: The hot days often lead to dramatic cloud formations and truly spectacular, clear sunsets just before the rain arrivesโperfect for photography, especially at iconic spots like the Avenue of the Baobabs.
โ
Fewer Crowds: You'll find lower prices and a more intimate experience at popular destinations, as the peak tourist season has just passed.
What is your favorite Malagasy destination to see covered in green? Share your thoughts below!

Yesterday we talked about the beautiful concept of moramora (taking it easy) in Madagascar. Today, let's explore one of the main reasons travel is often moramora here: ๐ป๐๐ ๐ธ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐น๐๐๐
๐!
When you plan a trip in Madagascar, you don't just ask about distance; you ask about the state of the road. It can be the difference between a 3-hour journey and an all-day adventure!
This picture perfectly illustrates the common challenge of navigating our national routes. See that ๐ฉ๐จ๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐ฅ๐ right there? That's a typical sight!
They can appear out of nowhere and definitely keep drivers on their toes.
It's a reminder that even when you're on a "main road," you still embrace the moramora spirit โ taking it easy, being attentive, and enjoying the journey, bumps and all!

Madagascar, the country of Mora mora.
Literally translated as "slowly, slowly," Mora Mora is more than just a phrase; itโs a mindset that encourages you to take your time, appreciate the present moment, and approach life with calm and serenity.
In a world where everything moves fast, Madagascar reminds us of the importance of slowing down.
Imagine:
๐Taking the time to observe a Sifaka lemur "dancing."
๐Slowly savoring the beauty of the Highlands' rice paddies.
๐Patiently waiting for the sunset on the Avenue of the Baobabs.
Today, put " into practice!
When facing the week's challenges, remember that rushing isn't the only path. The Mora Mora spirit is the key to discovering the true beauty of the Great Red Island, and perhaps, the key to a more peaceful week.
