It’s been an eventful start to the month for the Madagascar WEFE Nexus Community of Practice ✨
📅 On Monday, June 1, 2026, the information session for the “Unleashing Changemakers” volunteer training program—the “MAHATSANGY” cohort—took place at the Centre Jésuite d’Ambohidempona ✨
✅ The purpose of this meeting:
To congratulate and officially name the fourth cohort, who brilliantly passed their evaluations and to present the schedule and specific objectives of each practical session.

A wonderful opportunity to represent Madagascar WeFe Nexus and the UJA Center.

Un début de mois bien mouvementé au sein de l'organisation Madagascar WEFE Nexus Community of Practice ✨

📅 Ce lundi 1er juin 2026 s'est déroulée au sein du Centre Jésuite d'Ambohidempona la réunion d’information de la formation pratique des bénévoles “Unleashing Changemakers” – promotion « MAHATSANGY » ✨

✅ L’objectif de cette réunion :
Féliciter et enfin nommer la quatrième promotion qui a brillamment réussi leurs évaluation présenter le déroulement et les objectifs spécifiques de chaque session pratique.

Une belle occasion de représenter Madagascar WeFe Nexus et le Centre UJA.

The Madagascar WEFE Nexus Community of Practice prioritizes quality and effectiveness of training rather than the number of participants within the Unleashing Changemakers program. ✨

On Friday, May 29, 2026, the evaluation of the fourth cohort of Unleashing Changemakers took place at the Centre Jésuite d’Ambohidempona!

The “train-the-trainer” project is not just a vision but an achievable goal, and this evaluation will help visualize what the cohort has retained from their theoretical training before moving on to the direct application of their skills.✨

The objective is therefore multifaceted:
Assess the volunteers’ understanding of the material
Measure the volunteers’ knowledge of WEFE issues
Identify the volunteers’ strengths and weaknesses and facilitate decision-making

🎯 All of this to achieve a common goal, which is to train young Malagasy citizens “vonona sy vanona” who care about the environment and are ready for action

Le vendredi 29 Mai 2026 a été réalisé au Centre Jésuite d’Ambohidempona, l’évaluation de la quatrième promotion des unleashing changemakers!

Le projet de formation de formateurs” n’est pas qu’une vision mais bien un objectif réalisable, et cette évaluation vas permettre de visualiser ce que la promotion à retenu au cours de leurs formation théorique avant de passer à l'application direct de leurs acquis.

l’objectif est donc multiple:
Évaluer la compréhension des acquis des bénévoles
Mesurer les connaissances des bénévoles sur les enjeux WEFE
Identifier les forces et faiblesses des bénévoles et faciliter la prise de décision

🎯 Tout cela pour atteindre un but commun, qui est de former des jeunes citoyens Malagasy “vonona sy vanona” soucieux de l’environnement et prêt à l’action.

Le 18 mai 2026, les participants de la quatrième promotion du programme Unleashing Changemakers ont participé à une session de formation au Centre UJA, animée par Randrianaivo Jean de Dieu SJ, père responsable du Centre Universitaire Jésuite d’Ambohidempona

Cette formation vise principalement à :

• Encourager la conscience de soi chez chaque participant
• Accroître le courage et la faculté à relever les défis
• Valoriser des comportements positifs et des actions constructives
• Saisir l'importance du leadership et de la prise de décisions

Cette formation, grâce à des discussions et des actions interactives, a aidé les jeunes bénévoles à réaliser que le changement doit d'abord venir d’eux-mêmes, et que l'autonomie est la pierre angulaire d'un leadership pérenne. 🌱

“Self-control is the foundation of influence,” John C. Maxwell once said.

On May 18, 2026, participants in the fourth cohort of the Unleashing Changemakers program attended a training session at the UJA Center, led by Randrianaivo Jean de Dieu SJ.

This training primarily aims to :

• Foster self-awareness in each participant
• Increase courage and the ability to overcome challenges
• Promote positive behaviors and constructive actions
• Understand the importance of leadership and decision-making

Through discussions and interactive activities, this training helped the young volunteers realize that change must first come from within themselves and that autonomy is the cornerstone of sustainable leadership. 🌱
